This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

well i started watching Witse , i loved it at first but the last 2 episodes i saw on TV (dec 2006), were not that entertaining as they used to do! as "pourquoi_pas" said , maybe it's the writers ... i don't think it's a actors thing ... if the acting has not been done it a good way it 's the director who has to make the right the actors make it do the way he sees it, & if the director is satisfied or there is no more budget those things can happen that it turns out like this, i hope that "Witse" will return, i was sad when Dimitri Died, to me that was a lass ...anyway , good luck to the team in doing a good job for Belgium television!

When they started broadcasting "Witse" several years ago, I really looked forward seeing it. I saw the most episodes of the first season, but after a while the quality the episodes started to fall. In the beginning I was satisfied and I thought Hubert Damen was giving an pretty good acting performance. The stories were good and it was an entertaining new police series. But then there where a few episodes with a very weak story and there were several scenes where the acting was extremely bad. It almost looked like some weak school play. I was very disappointed because it started very good. Maybe the script writing and acting became routine. I don't know what happened afterwards. Maybe the screenplays became better, maybe they didn't..? I don't know because I stopped watching.
