Wheel of Fortune Audience Reviews

Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Darin One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
Justina The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
S.R. Dipaling I say, with little amount of self-consciousness,that I've watched this show (particularly the evening syndicated version) faithfully for almost twenty-five years, and even though the whole routines of the show get a little stale and "samey" (as any show that's been on for a long time tends to do from time to time),there's still something comforting or reassuring that people want to play for (and watch)cash and prizes by solving puzzles. Yup,puzzles. No immunity challenges,no competitive back-biting,no suspense or plotting, no promises of winning "One MILLION DOLLARS!", no lifelines or help from the audience. Just simple contestant-to-puzzle/question format, with host(Pat Sajak, effortlessly affable for close to thirty years, picking up for the equally disarming Chuck Woolery),hostess(Vanna White, truly the luckiest woman in all of showbiz!;Susan Stafford the most notable here before her) and announcer(Charlie O'Donnell now, once TV host Jack Clark back when). The late Merv Griffin created this show in the mid 1970s as part of his attempt at expanding his repertoire from talk shows(of which he hosted for the better part of twenty years)and music. Coupled with "Jeopardy!" (another show I got into, though I burned out of for reasons too many to explain here),these shows developed a long-lasting familiarity that long outlived the period from which it was spawned. It,along with afore-mentioned "Jeopardy!" and "The Price is Right" were able to become iconic in some degree. But while "Jeoprardy!" and "Price" were able to sustain some level of respect, deserved or otherwise,"Wheel" got drubbed for various offenses, such as lack of intelligence required(mildly false)or being a ripoff of "Hangman"(somewhat true). To me,I still say, faults and all,a show like Wheel is a great refuge for people who remember when game shows tried to be entertaining honestly, with emphasis on the games themselves and less emphasis on the embarrassing, degrading aspects of competition. While the prize values have, naturally, raised considerably over the years and major facets of the show have changed (among them, the acquisition of prizes and how the end game is played),I think the general élan of the show remains. Simple, friendly competition for winnings that neither taxes your brain too much (if at all) nor insults your general sense of dignity.
ccdeleo Wheel of Fortune has always been my favorite TV game show because it is so much fun to play along with. I imagine actually being on the show would be a little harder than playing from home, but sure would be fun to have a chance to try! Now that Wheel of Fortune offers daily prizes to viewers through their Wheel Watchers Club and Spin ID's it makes it even more exciting. There have been a few times I have missed the show, and wondered if they had called my Spin ID.I finally found a solution to that when I joined Club Wheel Watchers. Now I get a daily email with the winning Spin ID to double check in case I missed the show. I found this website through Yahoo under wheel watchers club.I hope this show goes on forever. Can you imagine Vanna at 80? She would probably be just as beautiful as she is now. Love the show!
Seth Nelson That show I like, and the show America likes, is bigger, brighter, and better than ever because it's now in High Definition!!!!! It's "Wheel of Fortune!!!!!"Anyhow, Pat Sajak and Vanna White run the show and they are the perfect duo to take center stage. The game is played exactly like "Hangman," as Merv Griffin envisioned it more than 30 years ago. Here people spin for "BIG MONEY !!!," and prizes too, but watch out for "Bankrupts," "Lose a Turns," calling wrong letters, etc. and the player shall succeed!!!!! The person with the most cash goes on to spin the little wheel for a chance at cars and cash ranging from $25,000 to $100,000!!!!!I am looking forward to seeing such a great season this year, especially the Dallas episodes. As a matter of fact, the Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie just wrapped up three nights (three weeks on TV) of shows a couple of weeks back. It'll probably be on in November, so I'll have my old-fashioned SD VCR ready!!!!!"Wheel of Fortune" is the best game show ever made, and 6th according to GSN. Watch it, you will enjoy it!!!!!10/10
Habte1984 I remember when this show came on, The highest prize won was $25,000 in the bonus round. Now a days is 100 grand. And all the toss ups. I'm telling you this show is better than ever. And the theme song is pretty good. Unlike the 1983 "Changing Keys" version which was ugly and used too many synthesizer or the 1997 version where they jazed up the theme. I Like the new hi-tech puzzle board because it gives a more 21st century feel to the show. And the PRIZES!!! We'll What more can be said this show is better than ever before. And the set is cool. Better than the previous sets including the Ugly Sunburst's in 1983. Long Live Wheel.
