Unfabulous Audience Reviews

Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
RyothChatty ridiculous rating
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
MilkyFresh This show is terrible. An absolute disgrace for a TV series. If i could i would have given it 0 but unfortunately thats not possible so I'm gonna stick to as low as i can :P This show is based around a girl who tries to decipher life and all that rubbish. Don't get me wrong, i've watched a fair number of these kind of teenager series, but this one is a disgrace. Besides the absolute rubbish that it displays and I'm referring to the 'lessons' it teaches, the acting is absolutely shocking, the storyline wants to make u cry and the worst is the main character's obsessive singing. plain and simple - she is sh*t. She cannot sing to save her dog's damn life (although if i were her dog i'd probably want to kill myself anyway, so thats a pretty poor argument). This show is also centered around this girl's 'love' for this one guy, and every damn episode is about it and every song she 'writes' is about him. I'm embarrassed to say that i've even watched an episode and am disgraced that it is playing in my country. Maybe i should send a letter to MNET and request its removal.
chiat-1 Unfabulous is possibly one of the most annoying shows on t.v. Emma Roberts is actually a very good actress, so why is her talent being wasted on this?! Unfabulous revolves around Adie Singer, a normal girl who writes incredibly stupid songs, which don't really make sense. This show is not relevant to teenage life. The plot suggests that all teenage girls do is argue with their friends, have crushes on boys and worry about their appearance! Unfabulous should not be on t.v. Rather watch reruns of "Lizzie Mcguire", it is funny and has a good message. It is obvious that Unfabulous is a wannabe "Lizzie Mcguire" like so many preteen shows now. I think Unfabulous had the right idea but it just ends up looking tacky.
SuperNewb From the point I saw it advertised, I had a feeling that this was going to be another Nick flop. Boy, was I right. Now, I did not want to watch it, it looked stupid and pointless. Unfortunately, my neighbor has a tendency to ignore child abuse laws (even though she is one herself), and made me sit through three painful episodes over Comcast. First off, the acting is absolutely terrible. Emma Roberts can't act her way out of a plastic bag, and seems to find herself amusing by putting on the fakest of facial expressions. She says her lines like a robot. In fact, I believe that basically everyone on the show is that bad. Pathetic, really. Second off, the girls are apparently very sweet, welcome everyone, and hate the popular folk. However, they are just as nasty and cruel as Maris and Cranberry. Very hypocritical. The show is cheesy, basically lives off of teenybopper romance, and uses good-looking actors instead of those with real skill. Lord, save us. This is child abuse.
mamacornbread6 I think Unfabulous is a really great show. It's about a girl in middle school named Addie Singer who is trying to basically find herself and grow up. She uses her close friends Gina and Zach, her family, and her music to learn about herself.I think this is a really great show but only if you can relate to it. It is meant for 11-14 year old girls. I can relate to the episodes and the problems that occur, therefore I love to watch it. It's also a really great show to watch because of the eye candy; some of the boys are really cute, like Randy Klein and Jake Bahari. Many people complain about the acting and the singing in the show. If it is your first time watching the show or you have watched every episode yet you say you hate the show (why do you keep watching it?), you have to realize that these are young actors. Emma Roberts hasn't been in the business for 30 years so give her a break. She also is playing a young girl who doesn't have a perfect voice so stop complaining, all of you haters. Half of us can't act as well as her or even sing as well as her. Unfabulous is being compared to a lot of other teen shows but most of the events that happen in the show can be related to, even if they are exaggerated. IT'S A TELEVISION SHOW! And this whole thing about Unfabulous putting down Catholic school, anything about Catholic school maybe happened two or three times total during both seasons. It's not even that serious. No one was intentionally putting down the schools, unless you read really really deep into it. It's not the best show in the entire world, and Nick used to have a lot of really good shows. But Nickelodeon has to provide for another, younger generation of kids so if you are older than about 14, you probably don't/shouldn't watch the show.
