disgusting, overrated, pointless
Robert Joyner
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Melanie Bouvet
The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

I just moved out from Hoover, Alabama, and as I look back I would say thats the best dang place ever. Most people didn't know squat about Alabama, but with this show they do. I watched the show, I thought it was pretty lame actually. The events happened but they were way over exaggerated. But it was like most reality shows, so I guess most people like that stuff. There were cameras everywhere at Hoover High and the kids who didn't even watch the show knew everything that happened.Once when I was at a Hoover football game, my friends and I saw Alex and were like "OMG we're by a celebrity!" And yes, Alex got his girlfriend pregnant and last I heard they were getting married. Also he went to jail a lot.I dunno if I've really said anything worthwhile about this show, but I can say as a former Hoover resident that I've given my bit.

Yah I go to the school that beat Hover for the State Championship. Hover is a great football program and this year was very exiting. We went played in the championship two years ago and Hoover whipped us. But this year we really pulled it off. And yes all the Alabama high schools are crazy about football. During the season thats all everyone thinks and talks about. When Hoover started two a days just about all the Alabama high schools made fun of them. Just about at every game there was someone on the other team stands holding a sign that says something to the affect of "Look i am on MTV." But as you can tell MTV did a good job of not letting the signs be seen.

Does anybody know if MTV will be running reruns of season 2? Does anybody know why they stopped running them as frequently as they had been running them previously? I would really like to be able to see that final episode again. I felt bad for them all, they all seemed so crushed when they lost. I'd also be interested in any information anybody has about Hoover High. How large is the student body there? Are the other high schools in Alabama as football crazy as they are? Is the cheer leading squad all white? I wondered about that because it seemed as if the players were about half black. Does anybody know if the show is coming back there next season or are they going somewhere else. I saw one newspaper article where they said the producer of the show was a woman from New York and she had never been in the Deep South before she filmed the show and that it was a big shock to her.

There's no two ways about it, two a days is one of the best shows on TV right now. Anyone who doesn't like it obviously has never played on a football team. It does a great job of capturing the pressure and emotions of playing the sport of football, but also has some great stories for people who want to watch a show with more than just great football. It's really cool to see what a team has to go through to be the best in Alabama, and how hard they have to work not only after school but before it too. They did a great job of picking out characters, because no matter what you like to watch, there is without a doubt one character that you will like. My personal favorite is Max, but Alex is cool too.
