Trial & Error is not only hysterical, but different from any other show currently out there. The true crime plot keeps you guessing, while the zany characters of East Peck make you tear up with laughter. We have to pause each episode multiple times because we're laughing so hard we can't hear what happens next. How often does that happen?!? The Season 2 premiere last night proved this show is only getting better. I hope NBC keeps it around for many seasons to come!

Perhaps not suited for people that don't pay attention (there is a lot of stuff going on in the background). I watch it and always mutter that "this show is REALLY WRONG on so many levels (even say "f***ed up often)" but in a good way. It reminds me of "Blazing Saddles" and Animal House and the "Airplane" movies. Mindless entertainment at a time when we need it I think.

Unnecessary quick pans, jerky camera action, lame writing, predictable gag lines that you see coming from a mile away. There is nothing here that hasn't been done many times before and much better. I haven't seen this level of mediocrity since Parks & Recreation. Apparently the director must have been saying "you're not overacting and making each joke obvious enough, try harder...Lithgow you've never been more over the top, keep mugging."

The pilot is bad news for comedy.It's simply not funny at all. Simple as that. A failed attempt at humor and it should be discontinued for the sake of the actors. Somebody has convinced them this would work.The story-line is not all that bad and could work. The actors, the cast, not all too bad either and I see how on paper this could look funny. But, it lacks something. I think its the writing.Over the top, simplistic, easy and not very well thought through.Its a comedy, a murder happened, a young lawyer goes to a small hillbilly town and runs into all sorts of characters. Etc.If the writers and actors have some self-respect, run away from this baloney! Torture at best!
