Highly Overrated But Still Good

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

I will admit, this show does have some funny bits here and there. What I really don't like about it is how Tosh will present himself and the way he tries to push in his own parodies for the videos he shares. It's as if he is still in 5th Grade, and he's not even trying to be funny. It's like he's just reading them off of some script he or one of the producers wrote for him, and he's reading the lines one by one. I don't know, it just sounds very "bland", if you know what I mean. I give the sum of every video (other than his parodies) an 8 out of 10 (AS A WHOLE), 3-4 out of 10 for his presentations, and a 5-6 out of 10 for effort, so why am I giving it a 4 out of 10, you may ask? Well, that's just how I feel about the show, and either he needs to get better in the presenting aspect of things, or this show just needs to stop airing on T.V.

it seems like i'm not the only one with a huge dislike towards this show.first ill start off simple the host tosh is as funny as a rock his voice is so annoying i literally want to staple my ears shut whenever i hear him speak i absolutely hate when he re-acts the internet clips for that matter anyone who does that is honestly just lame if you cant think of anything don't bother copying someone else it makes you look desperate for attention secondly he just looks like a douche bag he only gos to the top rated videos of certain tube sites then adds them to his show like that is so hard to do.if you want to watch something actually funny like this show =3 will make you laugh more in 5mins then all of this crap combined

I have only seen about half of season three of Tosh.0 (free on youtube). If you like crude humor, which I do, there's a lot to laugh at in this show. Initially, I found myself laughing hysterically at both the videos and the comedic bits and to criticize the show based solely on the low-brow nature of the jokes is unfair and probably means that you just don't like that brand of humor. This being said, there's a real dark side to this show which, ultimately, far outweighs the enjoyable aspects. For the life of me, I cannot understand why a television show would make fun of people who often times are clearly getting seriously, seriously injured. It's one thing to watch a video where a person appears to get injured, but then they get up and, while perhaps a little bruised, clearly are okay. It's something completely different to watch a video and be left with the thought that you just might have seen someone get crippled or, in rare cases, even died, and then hear rather tasteless jokes about it. There is a sickening aftertaste to these moments and for all of the genuinely funny moments, if you are like me, this particular aspect is enough to cause one to never watch another episode.

Looks like there's no in between in the reviews for this show, which I just saw by accident (as long as I could stand it). What total garbage. If you like seeing idiots doing stupid things, getting really hurt during stunts, and then everyone laughing while Tosh makes fun of them, well then you'll love this show. If you're a intelligent human being, this will will repulse you and make you wonder if there's any hope for humanity when a show like this can stay on the air. Today's episode, for example, featured a woman dancing on a glass table, falling through it and Tosh commenting on her weight. Then a guy is jumping on a trampoline with friends, bounces too high, and gets his leg caught coming down into a basketball hoop. Truly made me grimace in horror, while the laugh track (real audience?) illustrated the hilarity of it all. If you like this show, you're seriously short on humanity.
