It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

This show intrigued me from the beginning with time travel and history. So glad it came back and I loved the season 2 finale. Can't wait for next season and see what the writers do with history and the characters.

I really like this show, but why of why does Hollywood insist on casting German-speaking roles - no matter how small - with American actors who have no command of the German language?

An awful lot of wasted potential here. What could have been an exceptional show was let down in the first 7 episodes by poor writing and an apparent assumption that all the viewers are brainless morons.By episode 8 the series was finally finding its feet, and as a viewer I began to feel that my intelligence was not being quite so badly insulted.Episode 9 was the first that I enjoyed without a constant buzz of irritation in my brain caused by my inability to suspend disbelief, and the semi-conscious re-writing of every scene to improve its science and plausibility. From episode 10 onwards the show really shone with some terrific episodes, and I found myself becoming properly hooked, and actually caring about the outcome. However, I had to consciously choose to ignore a catastrophic plot hole that essentially destroys the entire premise of the series if explored; a way for all problems to be resolved, and all threats averted in one simple stroke, without need for violence or temporal paradoxes. I had to work very hard to ignore my irritation about all that!I also found it impossible to like the character of Wyatt, as he was basically a moron who made nothing but bad decisions based on his own ignorance, selfishness, and narrow vision. He was clearly only there to be eye-candy for the female viewers and a relatable character for the intellectually challenged. His backstory and motivation were a tired old trope that has been way over used.I also predicted the twist at the end of the season 1 finale somewhere around episode 3 or 4. But despite that I was hooked by the end, and looking forward to season 2.If the massive improvement in writing continues on the arc that season 1 established, then season 2 should be a cracker!Lots of complaints in this review, but hopefully balanced and reasonable. There are certainly worse ways to waste some time, and despite its flaws I did binge-watch the whole season!

I've watched since season 1 and it's truly my favorite show! It's very well written, great acting and fun to watch!! Cross my fingers there's a season 3!
