The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.

In one of the last episodes, Cruz tells that it is indeed leukemia that is killing her, not some STD given to her in some rape, like the other commenter has speculated. She seeks some unorthodox, holistic care from some dancing folks. The series might've been better had the last episode featured a unicorn flying down from the sky with a monopoly board tattooed on its side, and a flag of some sort being dragged behind it. Then the unicorn could've swooped up Cruz, and taken her to some sort of lake where she escapes the vile life of New York and magically heals herself. Or maybe it was pretty good how it ended for real.

I love third watch, and was very disappointed that it came to an end without warning. I have been watching third watch from the start, please bring it back! I loved all the story lines and all of the characters. I cried, I laughed, I got mad and also felt the personal changelles they all went through. When Cruz got raped I liked how she and Nina bond, the story line of Nina and Davis but hated when she lost the baby. Most of all they all were a family who stuck together through good times and bad times. The fire dept. and the cops. Please update me on any changes in it coming back or perhaps I was dreaming and really didn't end. Also where is the dvds. Bronte

Third Watch will be remembered as NBC's secret stunner. For 6 seasons this show persevered through several slot changes and a lack of promotion by the network. While NBC spent most of their time promoting all of the Law and Order Series, their must see comedies, and lack luster reality series, Third Watch remained largely in the shadows of the network. Still, this show managed to bring viewers to the edge of their seats every week and kept their plot lines fresh, intriguing, and emotionally appealing. The cast went through small changes but remained mostly intact up until it's fifth season. Regardless, the talent on this show would rival any other on NBC or any network, even cable channels which are usually known for their own breakthrough television. Third Watch was a fish out of water on a network that never realized what it had. The faithful fans followed the show relentlessly and hopefully after the series ends more fans will be gained through release of the seasons on DVD. I recommend this show for those who not only love good television, but also love great film making. The show is visually stunning and puts new angles on the traditional cop show format. Maybe it wouldn't be as special if NBC had ever given it the recognition it truly deserved. Third Watch, I believe, will go down in history not as just another cop drama, but as a show that encompassed what it really means to be a police officer, fireman, and paramedic on any street in America and also show everyone that not all of those people are perfect and righteous. On Third Watch, as in real life, there are good guys and bad guys. This show gave you a view into the worlds of both groups.
