The Tribe Audience Reviews

Steinesongo Too many fans seem to be blown away
Dotbankey A lot of fun.
Cleveronix A different way of telling a story
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
shadowtrigger-1 About a year ago I switched to digital cable, with it came about 200 new channels. About a week later I ran into this odd looking show that had teenage kids in weird clothing and tattoos on their faces. I honestly didn't know what to think about the show, but after the first several episodes I was hooked (I started around the middle of the 3rd season) I have seen only the 3rd and 4th seasons, or series as they are called and I am addicted. I won't go as far as painting my face for em but I've considered it once or twice. The thing that amazes me is that Cloud 9, the production group that makes The Tribe isn't the most well funded film company in the world. But they have used every last dollar (or whatever currency is used in New Zealand) they have to make this show so good. The cast (which most have appeared on Hercules and Xena, as well as the Power Rangers)is talented enough to give their character's personality. The sets are believable, the outfits are are amazing, and the fact that most of the actors are dulling down their heavy Aussie accents is impressive enough. For those that haven't seen the show before are best to look at it like a Live Action Anime, not the ultra Kung-Fu kind, but the soap opera kind (Ranma,Chobits, etc.) It's a good show that pretty much makes gold from the budget of straw that they have. 10/10
hotguywanted2004 The Tribe is a fantastically different teen drama set in post-apocalyptic times after a deadly virus has wiped out all the adults and the kids have to now survive on their own and create a world in their image. Great dramatic story lines make for great viewing and don't ignore the harsh reality of what teenagers have to go through (especially with no adult imput), with story lines such as teenage pregnancy, bulimia, bullying and different tribes fighting against each other for survival and these are just a few of them... All series so far have been fantastic and many people are eagerly waiting for series 6 as am I. Not to be missed! Plus a great selection of new acting talents including Tom Hern and James Napier!
shortQt I was flipping through channels one day, when i came across The Tribe. I was going to change the channel because my first impression was "this is stupid" but the strange characters, hairstyles, and clothes kept me watching and drew me in. I got hooked right away and have been watching ever since! It is just so captivating with the things the kids go through, some real life situations, some unreal! Here in America we finished the 4th season and i hope they start playing the 5th really soon!
melloyello2004 I've been a fan of the series since series one. I got hooked the very first episode I saw. In the US we are currently on the 4th Season. Series five is hopefully on the way later this year or early next year! My favortie is Ebony who is played by the lovely and talented Meryl Cassie! Be sure and don't miss it!
