I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

Terrible plots, children twerking, careless art, trying too hard voice actors.......An empty shell, for an empty show. There is no heart in this show. It is only there for merchandise . You know, there's a famous fan comic called "PPGD", by Bleedman. I consider that more canon and in character than this reboot, as well as the PPGZ 2006 Anime. Both the comic and anime were made in East Asia, on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD, and take place in an alternative future. Both these Asian works have their own section on Fanfiction.com, while the 2016 reboot does not. That alone says the terrible quality of this show. The fourth powderpuff girl had nothing but a quick effort to gain attention. When the twerking episode got PPG 2016 publicity, they allowed a pedophile to ship himself with a six year old.I feel so bad for Craig. His characters have been ruined to the ground. To any hopeful animators that are reading this, let these reboots be a lesson; when you give away the rights to your babies, you give away the right to actually make quality. These channels can make or break your ideas.

i believe they ruined to the original its like they don't care for the show at all or never even watched it back then. trust me these creators are not fans of this show obviously and need to be fired! can't say anything else about this show other than total crap because it would be a big waste of time but overall 1/10 maybe even 0/10 stars for going far from perfection.

I have watched and re-watched all of the original PPG's episodes since I was a kid and when I heard that Cartoon Network was rebooting it I was extremely excited but I just couldn't understand any of the choices the team made when making this reboot.First of all I really wanted to like PPG 2016 when I first started watching it, in fact I almost totally convinced myself to, but after watching 1 full season I could not ignore its glaring faults. While the animation, updated designs and redone music is a nice distraction which genuinely seems like it had effort put in, the annoying, sometimes out-dated pop culture and internet culture references seem more like a desperate ploy to stay relevant then actual comedy, the characters are grossly misrepresented with not only the main characters being watered-down but the villains becoming one-dimensional and uninteresting and last but not least inappropriate and demeaning messages/morals for kids which is probably the most important, this show treats their target audience (children) like idiots who can't handle mild (emphases on mild), animated violence and woman wearing tops (I mean seriously! did Miss Keane just have breast cancer, where are they?!) also a lack of original ideas is very offbeat, with some recent episodes directly stealing from the original show. All in all this is a reboot that I would prefer to skip and I'm sorry if you like it, but I honestly do not see the good that you do, personally a reboot I would recommend that is a good shot of nostalgia would be Duck Tales while only the first episode is out it does look promising, or at least better than PPG 2016.

It's not as bad as everyone is saying. It's not as good as the original, but that doesn't mean it's a bad show. There's 2 episodes where the main characters are twerking, which I'd suggest skipping. However, other than that, it's not a bad show. Many people are being overcritical of it, not coming up with their own opinion, falling to herd mentality instead, and/or are listening too much to nostalgia when voicing their opinion or "their" opinion.I feel like a reboot being better than the original is only one of the jobs of a reboot, the others being bringing a terrific show or movie from the past, renewing it for a new generation and telling a slightly different tale (key word: slight). I'd suggest giving the show a try, and I'd suggest for everyone to give the show a chance.
