I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

And wanted to take him on a long long ride and let him out in the desert. Who's directing this>? Could lennon not be gotten under control? and the lame and obvious writing, just, well, the third season killed this thing.

I'm a big fan of Matthew Perry, I think he is a brilliant actor who deserves to be much more than what he is now. I was glad when he started the odd couple show. His character as Oscar Madison suits him very much. However, the show lost it's focus! Supposedly, Oscar is the center of the events, or at least equal to Felix Unger (Thomas Lennon). Now the entire show is about Felix Unger, and Perry's role is merely a supporting actor!!! What happened? Thomas' character is becoming more and more like Sheldon Cooper's of The Big Bang Theory! Everything is about him and the others are attending to his every whim! Felix is being transferred to a genius who taught himself chess at age of five, and a person who knows several languages!!! He is walking and talking like a robot. Also, I find that Thomas' voice is very irritating, or perhaps he is using this irritating tone on purpose! Perhaps he thinks it fits the character better. Why not? He is aright now that he is a robot-like!The path the show is going to is not good and it reduces the quality of the show. I hope to see Perry back to be the focus of the show again and not his flat mate! Oscar Madison is only a shadow now and he is melting away under the role of Thomas Lennon... So sad.

It is so hard to get into this show today when you were so use to watching the original Odd Couple show. No one can be such a slob as Jack Klugman, he played that role so good. I'm not saying I hate the new show, it has it's good laughs. Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon do a great job to be Oscar and Felix. It's hard to fill the shoes of the original cast but they do a great job. Each episode does keeps your attention because you never know what is going to happen next. If you blink you will miss some funny thing. The thing I see wrong is that they have changed Oscar and Felix since the original show. If you are going to keep the same characters then at least keep the way they live the same. Oscar Madison was a complete slob but in the new show he is not even close to that role. I really don't see this show going to much further. It's to far away from the original show.

America has managed some superbly crafted TV series. In no order of merit, Hill Street Blues, L.A Law, E.R. and NYPD Blue. So, what happened,,,,,here ?????.Someone has managed to take the superbly written Odd Couple, by Neil Simon, and turn it into the biggest load of shallow junk I've ever struggled with, I say struggled, because I truly wanted to like it, and I am also amazed that Mathew Perry is involved with the production of this series.?????I don't need to tell mature film fans, that the original Odd Couple movie is a classic. Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau hit the nail right on the head. Thanks to the genius script writing of Neil Simon.I honestly cannot understand why Mathew Perry wanted any part of this garbage?????If American can touch base with superb human drama's as above, why cant they do the same with comedy.???????. Mathew Perry, you are acting your heart out with what amounts to shallow junk......
