The Jim Jefferies Show Audience Reviews

Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Jeanskynebu the audience applauded
Softwing Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
n-m-bertin Let's be honest, Trevor Noah isn't as good as Jon Stewart. He's fumbling on words, the jokes aren't as spot on. The real alternative to his show is this, with Jim Jefferies. It's almost exactly the same. It's heavily political, with a lot of swearing added. Jim is in his element. More than say John Oliver, who has better ideas and does better interviews, but isn't as relaxed and fluid when he talks to the public. I hope Jim finds some fresh ideas, because it is extremely similar to the Daily Show, with the interviews and the reactions. Also, I expected it to be left-wing, and I don't mind but it's too much sometimes. And this is what makes John Oliver better : he goes and finds the issue that no one talks about. Once Jim will have TV veteran researchers working with him, with original segments, it'll take off.
Frederic Raspe I like this addition to the political comedy scene a lot, if you know Jefferies stand-up show, you will get a less krass approach to the topics he usually covers, but still with a lot of whit. Sometimes you really have to pay attention to get the whispered lines or remarks on the side, that give the Jefferies flavor to the show. This will not be for everyone, but I recommend everyone to watch this, because even if you do not agree on many levels, there is something to take away in every episode, sometimes it requires to read between the lines.
david-w69 Now that Jim has returned to his usual style of comedy, it's getting better and better - even though he has to pass TV-14, so no swearing without some bleep to disguise it. Brad Pitt had an excellent cameo. Recurring only 3 times unfortunately. If you like Jim Jefferies comedy, you won't be disappointed with this show
LouieInLove I docked a point for the theme tune. The theme tune is simply forgettable generic shite. I mean, it's really bad, so much so it's worthy of mention. I'd happily hum them a tune down the phone that would be better than whatever they're currently using - for FREE!Besides the appalling theme tune, it's actually an entertaining show. You have to give it some leeway as it's new & will obviously take a season or 2 to work out the kinks, but fortunately they have a host funny enough to carry the load until that stage is reached.Jefferies is the gold nugget here & if they allow him the time & space to swim in this format he'll bring it home - so to speak. I basically mean that Jefferies is a comedic star & if they allow him the time to adapt to this format they'll have a winner on their hands. Out of all the pseudo current-affairs show hosts, Jefferies is by far the most naturally gifted comedian; just let the prick do his thing & DO NOT try & force him down some (PC) alleyway where his talent will be suffocated. Let the beast free & reap the rewards.*Maybe get rid of the desk & let Jim sit one on one with the camera/audience - give it a less formal feel. Jim is a naturally gifted stand-up, so let the show reflect that in its look/presentation. He doesn't have the academic background that the likes of Oliver & Stewart have which allows them to easily fit into that pseudo newsreader role. Jim needs to be allowed to play to his strengths & sat behind a desk in a suit isn't his bag.*UPDATE*It's 4 episodes in & now really starting to find its feet. Jefferies is starting to flow. I still think it could do with being less formal & I STILL F**KING HATE THE THEME TUNE! Nevertheless, overall the show is coming together nicely.I'd up my vote from 8 stars to 9 if they got rid of that F**king theme tune. Whomever came up with it needs a rusty spoon (that's been used by an AIDS ridden junkie to cook up with, then been doused in gonorrhoea discharge & shat on by a haemorrhoid suffer after a meal of beef vindaloo) shoved in their f**king eyeball.
