Info

The Chew is an American talk show/cooking show that airs in the United States on ABC as part of the network's weekday daytime lineup. The name and format was inspired by the talk show The View, though centering on food-related and lifestyle topics. Each episode has its own title based upon the episode's theme. The program also airs in Canada on the stations of the Citytv television system. The show is recorded at ABC Studio 40 West 66th Street, New York City. It premiered on September 26, 2011 and replaced the soap opera All My Children. It is hosted by Iron Chef America's Mario Batali and Michael Symon, Top Chef's Carla Hall, What Not to Wear's Clinton Kelly, and Dr. Mehmet Oz's daughter, author and wellness enthusiast Daphne Oz. Evette Rios, Marc Summers, former Food Network personality Danny Boome and Jason Roberts serve as correspondents for taped segments. Guest co-hosts have included Emeril Lagasse, Ming Tsai, Scott Conant, Sunny Anderson and Evette Rios. A scenic designer with the show, Ivan Giovanettina, a native of Switzerland, was shot dead in Bedford–Stuyvesant, Brooklyn on January 10, 2013.

Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Gutsycurene Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
mctaboo This show is the best cooking show on TV "US show only 2n'd to the British show COME DINE WITH ME", when I first saw it I couldn't stand it only because of Mario Batali but when he left the show has become sooooo light & very entertaining, I don't know why they canceled it, maybe because few people haven't watched it after Batalis gone.. But I hope they make another show with only Clinton Kelly & Carla Hall and maybe Stacy London and it can be a lifestyle show with cooking and fashion segments.
maggieangel1117 I love The Chew. Its a very informative and fun show. I am also very glad that Daphne Oz is gone. It seems to me watching the new season, the cast is more lively now that she is gone. I had nothing against her eating healthy, but I felt like she pushed her beliefs on the cast sometimes and got upset when they didn't always agree with her. Who knows. I just feel the show is better now that she is gone.
loriwilli Im in love with that big awesome mortar and pestle. Please! Tell me where I can get one. I've been able to find it on Amazon but they are out with no promise it will be restocked. I have several in my collection, which I use frequently. . But...I simply must have one like that! Can you help me in my search? I'm wanting to see some shortbread cookies demonstrated by one of the awesome iron chefs or both that would be great. I make mine in spring form pans and use my homemade vanilla and vanilla sugar or pure almond extract and amaretto, topped with the fine sugar matching the flavorings. I would like to see variations I could try. I usually don't leave them in the oven till they'll be crunchy, I like them soft and moist in the center. I love "The chew" its the perfect combination of personalities. Thank you. Lori WilliamsonThank you. Lori Williamson
midway-344-428200 Here's how I see it. The co-hosts of the show seem to enjoy being there and each other, and even though they have been in the public eye in some capacity or another, they really seem truly relaxed with each other. We were not fans of any of the hosts and came across the show early in the season when searching for a good recipe. We came across Carla Hall's Pumpkin Beignets and the rest is history. The atmosphere is comfortable, the recipes are great, craft ideas, makeovers and all the rest just needs to be enjoyed for a lighthearted change to all of the high pressure cooking staged competition shows. It is a very pleasant change to much of what is pushed at us on TV today. We DVR it everyday and have prepared many of the recipes. Give it a try, and it is getting better with every show. It doesn't make any difference if all of the hosts aren't there everyday. This isn't a competition, it is just an enjoyable show, and more real than the reality shows that seem to get all of the hype.
