A-Sync, a tech research company located in San Jose CA and spearheaded by Iven Beck, creates a wormhole to another dimension. Unknowingly, this causes disruptions to fabric of reality and time, causing objects and people to fall, or "clip", into this horrifying dimension. The smell of wet carpet, walls with a monochromatic tone of yellow, and buzzing fluorescent lights. This is The Backrooms.
