Crank up the 8-track and flash back to a time when platform shoes and puka shells were all the rage in this hilarious retro-sitcom. For Eric, Kelso, Jackie, Hyde, Donna and Fez, a group of high school teens who spend most of their time hanging out in Eric’s basement, life in the ‘70s isn’t always so groovy. But between trying to figure out the meaning of life, avoiding their parents, and dealing with out-of-control hormones, they’ve learned one thing for sure: they’ll always get by with a little help from their friends.

That '70s Show Audience Reviews

NekoHomey Purely Joyful Movie!
HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Kirpianuscus A sort of time trip. surprising working. for cliches, performances, humor. a a bitter flavor of nostalgia. parents, zoung people, crisis, conflicts, solutions, lessons of life and a smart plot. all in the right package. and proposing a sort of old fashion TV serie using contemporary recipe. so, just nice. for few episods, adorable could be a better word.
tstudstrup Having watched the first season and some of the second season I have to say that this show is lacking alot. The characters are bland and one dimensional and making fun of a depressing and ugly decade like the seventies gets old real fast. Only good thing: the cast look like actual teens unlike the very adult cast of Beverly Hills 90210 playing teens. But at least that show had well written as well as well acted characters. There isnt much chemistry between Topher Grace and Laura Prepon and waiting for Donna to get in the sack with Eric tries my patience. Ive seen several movies with Topher Grace, before I ever saw this show and he is so much better in those movies, than he is on this show. He deserved better than not being offered any parts anymore. Kurtwood Smith is funny, but he will always be Clarence Boddicker from Robocop, no matter what he plays.Debra Jo Rupp will always make me uncomfortable as I cant help but think of her character on Friends, where she plays an old schoolteacher that has a relationship with one of her students who is also Phoebes younger brother. That always grossed me out. Ashton Kutcher playing dumb stopped being funny a long time ago. Mila Kunis is cute but annoying. Danny Masterson as Hyde is the only actor on the show, that plays an interesting character that has some kind of personality. It makes me sad to look at Lisa Robin Kelly, because she's dead today. The rest of the cast, including Don Stark is so much better in other things. The only reason I keep watching this, is because there are no better newer sitcoms worth watching. Ive tried The Big Bang Theory and New Girl and they just run out of steam after only a few seasons. I miss a really funny sitcom and I cannot recommend That 70's show to anybody. Unless they find the lame predictable humor funny. And you have to be stupid to find it funny.
ssalte-75275 If it doesn't make you laugh, you're either too old, or too young. I've caught my parents binge-watching this. It's a classic. Really makes me want to live in the 70s!
ComedyFan2010 I really loved this show. There were almost no bad episodes. The first few seasons were absolutely perfect. The last one was not as great because two of the main characters were gone but they still managed to keep it at a good level and ended it at a right time.Like with many shows there were some problems with characters after a few seasons. The running jokes of Kitty drinking and Fez being a perv in a closet were a bit annoying. And I didn't like Hyde when he was dating Jackie. Usually he was a great character but then he was mainly getting on my nerves.I don't know 70's so I don't know how accurate it was but I liked it being set in a different decade. This way the references to that time sometimes made the show funner and more original. Each character was great and well thought out. My favorite though was Mrs. Kitty. Hilarious and amazing acting. I was also surprised to find out that many of the actors never had an acting jib before the show because they were all so good.I wish they would make That 90's Show now.
