It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Thought I'd finally review Universe, after getting over my mad...You cannot really say that this excursion belongs in the Stargate Universe )pun very intended), simply because it doesn't. The starship Destiny is an Ancients "Locator Ship", that was sent out millenia ago to find suitable worlds to use, in order to build the Stargate "Grid"...as we found out way down the line, "Manufacturing Ships" were sent out also, to keep Destiny supplied with stargates to "Seed" different galaxies...Brad Wright thought it would be cool to call Destiny a "Seed Ship" as a result, thereby creating confusion from almost episode 1.The premise of the series was not very well thought out, and evolved from Episode to Episode it seemed. The entire series departed from the Stargate foundations, just as Destiny departed different Galaxies. There was never any continuity, and actually devolved into nothing more than a cheap "Survivors" show, with virtually all the characters bickering between themselves in every episode...Where fans were tantalized constantly with scientific theories in both precursors, SG1 and Atlantis, Stargate Universe literally departed the science scene entirely after a number of epps, even though they had their own (unlikeable) resident physicist, and snarky smart kid...Ever wonder why both SG1 and Atlantis still show up in syndication, but SGU never does...??? My review is why...

This is more than a show. It shows us what we can able to find in universe in the future. So parallel with the current quantum laws and physics. Every science fiction fan and people interested in quantum should watch this show. It totally change my view of the world and the universe today. All characters has their own stories to tell. They are all so deep. This show makes you consider the facts that you firstly want to run away. The view of technology is so convenient. The ships name and the mission is far beyond sci-fi. Its about the ultimate questions that our species has to face at some point.Need to see the real end of this show. We need more seasons, please!

When I saw Stargate Universe series for the first time it was two years ago. Actually, it was for the first time I saw a Stargate series. I didn't know nothing about Sg-1, Atlantis and the other movies. Maybe that is because I was born in '96, one year before everything started. Anyway, now I'm aware of everything. Yet the first Stargate series I saw was SGU and I didn't know nothing about Syfy's cancellation of the show. I remember that immediately after finishing watching season 2 I started looking after the next season and when I found nothing I began to worry and ask myself many questions. It was then that I discovered about SG-1&Atlantis's existence. But I felt so sorry about SGU. I've never watched a TV show that was ended prematurely. Stargate Universe was my first experience of this sort and I was shocked. I never thought that something like this could even happen. But now I realize that the TV show's industry is about money. Anyway, it was tragic. But honestly SGU was good stuff. It's my favourite TV series ever. The story it's amazing. It would have been awesome to see Dr. Rush solving the mystery behind the evidence of the intelligent structure from the Big Bang explosion. Does God really exists? Is immortality/ascending a reality? Maybe afterlife? It would have been nice to see col. Young leading the ship&crew and it would have been funny to watch master sergent Greer. I do not rate this TV show ten stars because of hypocrisy, just because I would like to see SGU coming back on screens. I do it because it deserves it. And also it deserves a second chance. I do not believe that we can say with certainty that SG-1 and Atlantis were better than SGU. I consider all of these great. After I saw there is no season 3 I watched the other Stargate series and it was fine. They all are great, OK? So stop complaining about this better and this should be given a second chance. Stargate Universe deserves this firstly because the story was not finished, like the others. Money was a dead point and it caused a disaster. But who knows? Pandora's box still has hope left. In the end it would have been even better if I didn't know nothing about Stargate Universe. I would not want somebody else experience what I did.

Newly quite see the whole saga full Stargate (with movies included). I can say that Saga is a very entertaining and worth watching. Now talking exclusively about Stargate Universe, you have to make a difference.Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis, which is the turning point that gave it. Stargate Universe, although continuing to the above, it is totally different. Both actors and scripts, are more serious and worked than previous series. In addition a significant share of added suspense and the kinds of problems that face the characters, they are much closer to reality. In conclusion, I enjoyed and recommend the Saga see the whole. There are many hours of entertainment insured. Excuse my poor English Thanks so much for reading. Greetings!
