Lack of good storyline.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

I loved the series and think that all the contestants did a wonderful job. The dynamics and styles of working were so different, some getting into working as a team and others still fighting for themselves. The level of design was outstanding and far better than the current series of House Rules.I do hope they bring it back for another season and we can see some of the heroes (and villains) from past series.I was very interested that the prize was so low...no mortgage paid off or 100s of thousands of dollars.... so really it was bragging rights and the love of it. It showed! I loved both finalists and would have been happy for either to win...

I liked the idea of this show cause it put The Block and House Rules up against each other, but now with the second season the structure has changed, it's just like house rules now, state against state, it's not entertaining and it very boring, even the house reveals aren't entertaining. The contestants aren't fun, they're all boring and its failing in the ratings, I guess other people think it's boring too. The first season was great but this is a mess, even the idea of "East v West" is just blah, they also replaced the judges with them two Scottish interior designers who really aren't that great and quite mean, the original judges were better. I do appreciate the fact the are renovating people's home who have been in pretty big strife but to me the show is ruined.
