Reno 911! Audience Reviews

Nonureva Really Surprised!
PlatinumRead Just so...so bad
SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Gary The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.
Platypuschow And like that the six seasons of Reno 911! and it's spinoff movie are over and I'm a combination of saddened and relieved. Saddened because it's a great show, relieved because the final season felt like a chore and really wasn't on par with the rest. Now for those unfamiliar Reno 911! is a mockumentary show about the Reno police department which is made up of hilarious inept characters and the chaos that transpires during their job.The trouble with Reno 911! is that it's quick fire dry humour, and though most jokes hit the mark (Many firmly so) a lot fail thoroughly as well and that's what prevented the show from being truly legendary. Had it been more consistent it would have easily been one of my favorite shows of all time.Led by the excellent and criminally underappreciated Thomas Lennon the cast is on point until the final season when they suddenly replaced two cast members with a pair that simply didn't gel very well and damaged the final season.Slapstick, silly and often satirical Reno 911! is a solid comedy show I would recommend to anyone and everyone under the appreciation that many jokes fall flatter than a dry fart.Reno 911! You shall be missed, fantastic show. The Good:Excellent catsHilarious for the most partThe Bad:No finaleLast season doesn't deliverNew characters fail to entertainThings I Learnt From This Show:At some point they ran out of ideas but chose to carry on anywayThomas Lennon needs more movie work
General_G This show really cops a bad reputation. These guys are so stupid. I have three that tie for my top favorites, Junior, Weigel and Jones. Junior has always been the underrated one. I think its funny when hes doing stuff with the dogs. Weigel just a nut. Whos knows why they would ever higher her to be a police officer. One screw lose character. I liked the episode where she was suicidal. There's where you see the best of Weigel. Jones is so funny. I notice that he usually laughs at Garcia a lot. Cedric Yarbrough is a talented actor and I think he should get himself into more movies. My favorite season is season two. Lots of funny skits there. Same thing for season one in some episodes. Season three was kind of dull but I can't wait for season four seeing that they left season three on that cliffhanger with Dangle and Garcia locked in the police car and Craig dieing. I just can't wait.
caspian1978 Members from the original MTV comedy show The State that went on to star in the very forgettable series on Comedy Central called Viva Variety return to once again try to make the audience laugh with Reno 911. At times, the series in funny as it manages to hold itself up with one line jokes and rude and at sometime crude humor with crap and fart jokes. Still, when there is nothing else better to watch, Comedy Central always comes through with series like Reno 911 to make you smile. I hope for the series to get better as oppose to it getting worse and disappearing without any hopes of coming back or going to DVD. Most of the cast are funny stand up or stage comedians. While the script falls short on many occasions, the cast remains strong.
yogibear444-1 This quickly became one of my favorite shows. The similarity to "Cops" is humorous. The realistic actions and reactions to situations is so far from what you'd expect that all you can do is laugh as they make a farse of law enforcement. Watch this show, again and again. It's too funny not to. Don't listen to those who watched it for 15 minutes and gave up.
