Princess Nikki is a reality television show that stars former Big Brother 7 UK house mate, Nikki Grahame. It ran on Wednesday nights between 10:00 - 10:30pm on the digital television channel E4 from 6 September 2006, for a total runtime of 30 minutes. The show was devised by Endemol, the company that also devised Big Brother. It was narrated by the presenter and comedian, Alex Zane. The format saw Nikki attempt several jobs on each show, which included various unpleasant tasks such as rubbish collecting, deep sea fishing, and waste management. The show's premise was to see whether or not Nikki would perform the tasks given to her and keep her job for a day, or whether she would quit or be sacked due to her infamous tantrums. The concept of the show was taken from one of the tasks Nikki undertook while in the Big Brother House. During the task, she was assigned as Big Brother's personal assistant and had to carry out various duties, which often resulted in Nikki throwing a tantrum and refusing to comply. The show was often compared to The Simple Life. The theme music for the programme has been adapted from the 1982 hit single Hey Mickey! by Toni Basil, with the lyrics "Hey Nikki!" used as a replacement.

EssenceStory Well Deserved Praise
SmugKitZine Tied for the best movie I have ever seen
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
bazmitch23 .......and that's how not to be a human being. She's a terrible person; she's rude, arrogant, whiny, spoilt, lazy, talentless, selfish and....... there is absolutely nothing good to say about her AT ALL. She's like a character from a sitcom. In sitcoms, the main characters are usually written as horrible people like Basil Fawlty, Cartman, Homer Simpson, Blackadder and Richie and Eddie. But Nikki is a real person, unfortunately. What I like about this show is that it makes fun of her. And there's nothing better than seeing a horrible person get made fun of. Professional workers make fun her and her arrogance and the viewer just shakes their head in disgust. Parents say "Thank God she's not MY daughter."Nikki wants credit for things she didn't do very well. "I did a 10/10 on farming." But her employers say the opposite.I'm not a fan of Gordon Ramsey, but I would like to see Nikki on his show. He would have a field day.
Jacob Tucker Nikki does a lot more screaming in this reality show far more than she ever did on Big Brother. Seriously though, because I hate her so much so I loved seeing her being miserable. "Princess Nikki" which'll be hitting stores in November will probably struggle in the box office hits, a bit like "Chantelle's Dream Dates" which was a flop selling only 4,500 copies in the first month of sale. I'll be really surprised if there is a season two because I can't see the producers making such a big effort on it and as you can see it is quite a high budget. However on the positive side, it's hysterical and I loved watching Nikki screaming but don't get me wrong she isn't a celebrity at all! She's another chav who thinks she's this A-List superstar. If you're looking for a reality show with screaming and comedy to it, I strongly recommend "The Simple Life" with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
ProfoundRed I'm not going to go into any details of the show, I would just like to say that It's very worrying that TV has to resort to this to entertain audiences. I haven't watched big brother very much, and therefore give this show and objective point of view. It's main character obviously shows signs of mental health problems. She thinks and acts like a six year old girl, which must result from something during her childhood. I find it disgusting that people watch this for laughs. It's almost like a form of sadism. It's similar to watching physically disabled people put in horrible situations that make them uncomfortable. Nikki is emotionally unstable and throws tantrums like a young girl, which shows she hasn't matured and developed properly. This isn't a "little spin on her character"; she needs help, she doesn't need to be put on a show were people can laugh at her. Personally I feel very sorry for her. And if she is acting sometimes, thats just as immoral!
chrisnemi I watched princess Nikki last night and my husband and I both thought it was hilarious! Nikki is one very unique character she is ruthless, charming hysterical but is also quite sweet at the same time. during one of her jobs she was crying so much her mascara was streaming down her face, she doesn't seem to care what people think of her which is what I love. I was annoyed at the chip shop woman I though she was just plain rude, she told Nikki she thought she was parading around like some celebrity, but she clearly is a celebrity, people should just accept thatI really enjoyed the programme and will be tuning in again next week, Nikki Grahame is comedy gold!!!!i
