Nick Groff, a paranormal investigator who's "on a mission to discover something new in the paranormal field", and his paranormal researcher Katrina Weidman spend 72 hours together locked down in the most haunted locations in their quest to learn more about the unknown. They stay with the dead at these reportedly haunted places, many of which have never been filmed for a production and some will be investigated for the first time on television. Groff and Weidman believe, that "the longer they stay, the more the spirits will communicate with them and the more information they can gather about the unknown".

Paranormal Lockdown Audience Reviews

Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Kirandeep Yoder The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
djkil624 Nick brings a good energy to the show but Katrina is too laid back. She needs to be more animated; not just (monotoned voice) "Umm what was that?" The 72 hour lockdown is cool; the equipment they use is tight. Just wish they had more than just two team members
gmartzhandle I'm sorry Nick Groff, unfortunately, the show is boring as more times than not...most of the places they visit...nothing happens!!....and Katrina to me brings nothing to the show....I'm very disappointed on the premise of this show that they spend 72 hrs....and yet the times they sleep on those cots in scary places nothing ever ever happens....its boring...even the equipment they use which is downgraded as compared to his other show...is useless.I try to keep watching, but I haven't been scared not once, and why is Nick always so emotional?!I'm not at all impressed and frankly expected more out of Nick...go back to doing real ghost hunts ....not this fake crap.
clive-13 Another example of the "dumbing" down of America. This silly program, like all the rest of this genre that clogs the television networks today, is patently ridiculous. It presents itself as a series of real events. Real knocks, bangs, sounds, voices, messages, goosebumps and cold spots all caused by "spiritual entities". It's all shown with "scientific"panache. They use tiny recorders and a plethora of other "machines" that are presented as capturing the existence of "real" spirits of dead people. What "real" B.S..Any contemporary person with a modicum of intelligence and education should look at such superstitious clap trap with a wary eye. I would really enjoy these programs as they are generally peopled with interesting actor types who are somehow connected to the "spirits" they are trying to communicate with. In the case of PL the 2 "professional" spook seekers come with extensive resumes of successful "ghost hunting" These shows are surprisingly well made with resonably interesting camera work and appropriately spooky music. However.....They pass this stuff off as totally "REAL" Hogwash!!!I say enjoy Pararnormal Lockdown for what it is........entertaining FANTASY! Have a good time. Rating: Fantasy show, 7/10, as real paranormal experiences 2/10.
abynorml29 I've seen every "paranormal" show there is, some are better than others, for example: "Ghost Hunters" used to be the best, while anything with Zak Bagans is the worst. Most of the shows where the victims just tell the story and/or there are re-enactments, are usually not very scary, although, "A Haunting," is pretty scary. But, this show has two, very likable and believable hosts, scary settings, depend mostly upon EVPs and "things that go bump in the night." I enjoy this one. I'd really like to know what the title song is and who does it.
