I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.

I very much enjoyed watching Pan Am, I felt that I go a exciting voyage with them. The characters was interesting especially the stewardesses , I like the outfits they wear it, the graceful walking , the look and their attractive personalities. What caught my attention the most is the pilots, seemed to students at the university. I liked Captain Dean Laurie (Mike Vogel) he is a pilot in reality For this reason, it was a nice role in the series .This series showed the reality of what is happening in the work of the majority of those working in the aviation.

I've only seen two episodes, the first, and finally the one where they diverted to Haiti. The appalling and unprofessional aviation detail is a disgrace to the legions of Pan Am employees who made Pan Am the great airline it was, they must be turning in their grave. As a young Second Officer with a competitor International Airline in the 1960's I used to look up to the old Pan Am skippers with awe and reverence - not the crew depicted here, way too young as others' have already mentioned - they can't even get the navigator in the right seat, in this last episode I heard "Chuck" described as the navigator for the sector, yet he is shown sitting at the Flight Engineers panel. Can't you even get the basics right !!It might, just might, be excusable to depict flying like this for a Soap Opera using a mythical airline name and logo, but to besmirch the fine name of Pan Am in this way is almost criminal in my book.Goodbye, no more for me, you've blown it.

Pan Am is a great show. I am obsessed with learning about past decades, especially the 50's and 60's. I was really excited when the show started and every week I'm anxiously waiting to watch the next episode. I think the whole plot is really interesting. Some people have said it doesn't show how Pan Am truly was in the 60's, but the show wasn't meant to give everyone a history lesson. It is meant to give people an idea of what life was like back then for people, mostly focusing on the lives of Pan Am stewardesses and pilots. I'm sure most people know that not all of Pan Am's employees behaved the same way or had the same lifestyles as the characters in the show. This show is really good and I hope it gets brought back for another season. If it doesn't I will be really disappointed. It is a lot better than some other shows out there. And for the people who complain that it's on too late, you can watch it anytime on ABC.com or on demand. I think the show is good for pretty much any age group over 12 years old.

This is among my favorite shows. Interesting characters, exiting intrigues, thematic episodes and historical references in a good mix makes it interesting beyond pretty faces and romance. The fact that this show is in the 60's also makes it interesting. Issues like racism, the 2. world war, class distinction and equality between genders is discussed in the light of the time in a intelligent and nice way. And this without being intrusive. Still the show has romantic and humoristic settings that makes it appealing to a wide range of viewers. Still I think it's mostly a show for female watchers. If you are fan of shows like Grey's Anatomy and Mad Men I think and hope you would like this show as much as I do. I really hope this continues and keep up the high quality!!!
