SmugKitZine Tied for the best movie I have ever seen
Matcollis This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.
CommentsXp Best movie ever!
ChampDavSlim The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.
kwlandry Great show, I remember the original, and it was good. But this not only stands on it's own, it lifts the whole premise. It's truly funny, poignant, truthful, and when goofy, the good normal goofy stuff (without being a caricature), just enjoyable, good hour or two,
jladimayuga So I just started watching this when Rita stole the red carpet at the Oscars. I instantly liked the first episodes. I like the characters and the jokes are really hilarious!!!
jvallanavy I love this show! I have binge-watched both seasons 1 and 2. This is such a warm hearted and funny comedy that portrays a Cuban Spanish-American family and their ups and downs. This show is very current and politely delves into controversial issues faced by many demographics, making this very relatable. The casting was perfect and they acting is stellar. This is a must see show! I pray for a 3rd season.
silverturquoise I grew up watching Norman Lear shows, and it's really cool to be watching this reimagining of the original One Day at a Time with my teenage daughter. We both love this show, and I think that speaks volumes to how hilarious and relatable the characters and episodes are. It takes talent to create a show that is compelling across a 40 year difference in age! In particular, we really like the reimagining of the family as Cuban-American, and the single mom being a combat veteran. The writing on all episodes is superb - hilarious, heartwarming, and yet still thought provoking with regard to current issues in families and in our country. They've handled so many hot topics in various episodes, and done so in a thoughtful way. The entire cast is simply amazing - each actress and actor makes a very special contribution to the show. Hats off to both Rita Moreno and Norman Lear who are still going strong.
