It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

I used to watch this show every night many many years ago. It was entertaining and had enough drama to keep it interesting, and started careers for several actors/singers today. In recent years, the standard has slipped a lot. The story lines are bland, the spoken script is poorly acted and the show is not very entertaining anymore. Around 6 years ago it was still alright. But in the last year it has really gone downhill. The ratings confirm this too. There comes a point when the producers/creators/cast need to realize that, yes, they had a very good run, spanning several decades, but that run is coming to an end. While it is still better than Home and Away (which has far too much unrealistic drama), it seems the producers/executives will hire anyone, regardless of acting ability, because there are some terrible actors on the show at present who have probably never acted a day in there life before being cast.

I first started watching Neighbours when I was 12 in 2005 or 2006. It was so much better then because the actors and characters were the right ones to be on the set and everything was picture perfect! Loved the old Theme song and loved them over and over again. But then, when I was 14 in 2009, the characters were killed off the show and even the actors which made it into a mess. The neighbors crew got people that haven't a clue of acting and are staying there which they should've been gone long ago! I first started watching Neighbours when I was 12 in 2005 or 2006. I'm not blaming on the present actors but I'm blaming the writers for mocking this up. I know it's nice to have a change around and not get sick of the old characters but I'm not that sort of person. I would love if the writers got on their bikes and make it better again.

Neighbours follows the residents of Ramsay Street, as they go about their lives.I've had aunts who loved the show during the Kylie Era and was aware of the show's presence, I watched it every now and then but it wasn't until they re-introduced Paul Robinson that I took a greater interest. I found the character to be quite interesting and his exploits were thrilling, for a while the show kept my attention and then around 2008, I lost interest, but I've begun to watch the show once more and I've realised although Neighbours is not the greatest soap in the world, it has the feel good factor. The acting, directing, writing is absolutely terrible, the problems occur and are solved in an episode, or by the end of the week.Even with all it's faults its still a wonderful little soap to relax with.

When in comes to Australian television series, Neighbours is a legend. From what began as humble beginnings way back in early 1985 this program has survived the test of time. Originally broadcast on Channel Seven the show was axed after just five months and was sold to Ten in 1986. The rest is history. This program has launched the careers of many Australians most notably, Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce, Natalie Imbruglia, Holly Vallance and Delta Goodrem. Whilst not as popular as its hey day in the late 1980's and somewhat unrecognisable from 1985, Neighbours continues to deliver strong story lines and keeps on keeping on. Heres to another 20 years.
