Truly Dreadful Film

I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Is so easy hate Molly, she's a hateful fat, alcoholic, consumerist person. In other hand,Billy Gardell is amazing surprise. He's funny and joyful. I hope see him as protagonist in other show. I love his faces and expressions. It's a good show. Not the best, but not the worst. Remember a little bit King of Queens, but the wife Carrie was way better than Molly.

This show is Melissa McCarthy before her movie "spy"In other words it's going to focus on her and Billy Gardell (Mike) weight while trying not to make it the soul issue. And this the show's downfall. Both actors do great when they're apart and just interacting with other people with a character driven plot.Melissa's best moments in EACH episode is when she with Peggy (played by Rondi Reed) her mother-in-law.Then Molly and Mike are in the same room and of course we can only talk about their weight with Melissa over compensating because she takes the word "feisty" and "modern" to mean dominating, verbally abusive and a jerk! Mike's persona also changes around her and goes from a simple but charming man to a tool and nothing but a tool...It's such a shame because when the show is just about the characters it's pleasant, funny and interesting. Why does the chemistry between the two on screen have to be the turd of the show? I prefer the new Melissa over this one.

I like mike and molly. It is a fairly funny series. The cast are funny. I like each of them. I do have some problems with series. I don't why they have molly becoming a writer. She quits her job by jumping out a window, (not a good life lesson for the graders). What made her think she could write in the first place? There was no hint of that in the early episodes. Now she gets invited to an invitation only writer's workshop. Also she writes a first which is a big hit. Really? Also what is the book about: crime, romance, sex, etc . One last personal note: large women should NEVER wearing leggings and/or spandex! It is a funny series. I really like when the guys have a singing part. They really seem to enjoy doing it. They should do it on a semi-regular basis.

When the show first started i could not get enough of it. i loved everyone in the show. Loved we was getting this chance to watch a couple meet and fall in love and what not. Filled with tons of great jokes and moments. Well up until the past current season where Molly quits her job to find her self. Once that happened the show became all about Molly, like every episode was about Molly doing something that made no sense at all. Like how can you quit your job when your up to your neck in debt and are trying to have a child. I didn't like how also everything became Mike fault and he was played as the bad guy. The jokes that Melissa McCarthy are saying are just lame and sounds like she trying to hard. This bugged me so much i stopped watching the show and never finished the rest of the season. I hope for one day for it to go back to the way it was.
