Intense, gripping, stylish and poignant

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.

Whenever I had CITV on, I always hoped that this programme would be shown, because when I was younger, alongside Fun House and one or two other programmes, this was one of my most favourites. It should be mentioned that the cast were originally different, the first one or two series saw the main character regenerate, like Doctor Who, and of course I watched the show with the replacement actor. So Angelo (Tim Whitnall) is the alien from outer space who came to Earth in a wardrobe like spaceship, he can walk on ceilings, and he is a bonkers inventor always creating havoc in the house. His partner and best friend throughout the show was young Mike Mason (Michael Benz), who helped in any way he could to keep Angelo out of trouble and with his ridiculous plans. Also in the show, constantly getting irritated and shouting her iconic "Angelo!" line with her Scottish accent was housekeeper Katy Andrews (Katy Murphy), who occasionally joined in their adventures as well. The show was alway inside the household, you never saw them leave and do anything outside, but it didn't matter, everything cooky and enjoyable didn't need to go anywhere else. The last two or three series saw original Mike replaced by Aunt Daphne's niece Michaela 'Mickey' Fawkes-Bentley (Gemma Gregory), and then after her there came Katy's nephew, "coincidently" named Mike (Steven Geller), but for me the way it was worked better, I only kept watching until the end because of Angelo. I may not remember many of the episodes well, but Angelo was one of my favourite hilariously mad characters on TV, I really liked the character of Katy when she got cross, I just always looked forward to what chaos would happen next, a great fun show at the time. Very good!

This show was amazing, i remember it being one of the best children's shows around, and it ran for ages. mike and angelo, where he use to climb the walls, and land himself into trouble without meaning too! i ask my friends about this program and not all of them remember it, which is weird, but it would be amazing if they brought it back!!! the show, is one of my favourite old time children's shows! I really wish they would bring it back!! I remember angelo was the alien and he kept inventing things. i think mike was American, and he had really white hair, and they had the mother who was Scottish, i think her name was rita and they would have to cover up the trouble angelo got into! please bring this show back!

i used to love this show!!! it was so funny and even though i'm now 18 i still re watch my tapes of it and laugh out loud! my faveourite episode has to be the one where angelo creates the machine to make computer games come to life and the God Thaw attacks the house. this episode also stars one of the most funny characters Brett Douglas.

I feel duty bound to write a comment for this, if only because, up until this point, nobody else has. I remember it being one of my favourite shows as a kid, with the dynamic between the two male actors being surprisingly engaging; a sort of Pre-Teen "Two Ronnies", if you will. I couldn't bear the thought that such a neat little show might otherwise pass unrecognised. Plenty of extraordinary things happen, since the 'Angelo' of the title is an alien, and there was some great slapstick! It's a shame that nobody else seems to remember this quite as fondly as I do (at least fondly enough to deem it worthy of a few words!) Remember this: Classic T.V never dies!Oooh, I'm off on a nostalgia 'kick' now, it's maybe time to resurrect some other underappreciated favourities of mine, like the pioneering virtual reality gameshow classic: "Knightmare"...
