Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

I hate how they ruined likable characters like Kyle & Allison with their drugs and alcohol addiction.I know it's "character flaws" but I lost respect for them after that.Especially, finding out Allison relapsed in Atlanta, after all she's been through, no happy ending?I also dislike the fact that Jane returned in season 7.She didn't fit in once all the main characters left; It's like a senior going back to 9th grade. Everybody knows she should have never remarried Michael. (Frustration)...

"Melrose Place" was sentimentally-driven soap-opera-style crap in the same vein of recent television shows such as "The O.C." - spoiled rich brats in California who party all day and night have a hard time finding love. We're supposed to feel sorry for them as their spouses and boyfriends and girlfriends cheat on each other, and each episode would end with a new "shocking" revelation being made, so that viewers become addicted and have to watch every episode. Gasp! Is she messing around with him behind her back and is he flirting with that girl at the party who is going out with the other guy? Oh no! Boo hoo hoo. You may enjoy watching this if you also find Paris Hilton's exploits particularly engaging.

One of the best shows of the early 90's it lasted for 7 years. I came across this show as it's currently repeated on five every Saturday morning and I continue to love this show. I knew of this show when it screened during the 90's but couldn't care less at that time I was a huge fan of Beverly Hills 90210 which I'm not a big fan of anymore now. I just enjoy catching up with the lives of the beautiful and gorgeous people of Melrose Place. My favourite character is Alison (Courtney Thorne Smith) but my least favourite is Amanda Woodard (Heather Locklear) she is quite a B****. The cast are brilliant and I love the situations, which the characters go through every week just as our lives aren't as dramatic as these characters. Melrose is Glam but much better than Beverly Hills but as the seasons went on the series got over the top that's when I think it went downhill I think. The best year was the early years. I hope a DVD is released both in the US and the UK, as it was very popular and successful in both sides of the Atlantic. Melrose Place is one of my favourite shows and it's a classic with plenty to enjoy and a place we all wouldn't mind living in.

I was lucky enough to buy some episodes from a guy on Ebay, because I hadn't seen the series at the time it aired. My very favorite celebrity, JOHN ENOS, who played the part of Bobby Perezi, Amanda' love interest only confirmed this all the more. John looked unbelievable as this character; tall, great looking, sophisticated, intelligent, looking like a fashion ad no matter what he wore. I loved John's part, he played it so well as Vincent's going-straight (instead of following dad's lifestyle) son. A take-charge kinda guy, yet gentle, charming, loving and kind trying to make his way out of the difficult family lifestyle his father has fashioned for him and expected him to uphold. He was fantastic as Amanda's love interest. Although everyone else seemed to be sleeping around with everyone else, this did not seem to be true of Bobby. He seemed to be in love with and stuck to one woman in the person of Amanda, determined to make up to her the stress and horror that his brother Jack had inflicted on her. I loved the way he tried to accomplish that. John no matter role he plays, seems to have a strenth about him and yet is able to maintain a certain innocence which adds greatly to his charm. He has a great presence and leaves an impact on one. I noticed this the first time I saw him in Over The Line, a straight to video movie. I REALLY hope one of the movers & shakers in Hollywood notices and puts John's great talent to use. I really identified with John in Melrose Place and can see great things in his future & I'll certainly do whatever I can to support his gifted talent and career. koolgirlie
