Maya & Miguel Audience Reviews

Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Omoniyi Adenusi I do not understand why people hate this great show. I watched this show on KLCS all the time. I didn't even notice that many people hate the show until October 6, last year. The haters just PISS ME OFF! People keep saying it's a rip-off of other shows, such as The Magic School Bus. How is it a rip-off of that show? Maya and Miguel go to school, but they don't have a bus that can transform! There is also 1 user that made a 10-star review that said that it is a great show (oliversquidditchbabe), and the other users say that it is bad. Also, people say that it is annoying and it sucks. Also, it got a LOT of people who rated it 1 star. People also hate Maya, because she butts into other people's business. If any of you haters are reading this review, I would like to say this to all of you: IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT MAYA & MIGUEL, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!
blbbg1 What do Barney, Dora The Explorer, and Teletubbies all have in common? They're insultingly bad. One show, however and it's a mostly forgotten one; Maya and Miguel is so laughably bad that it could even be shown on MST3K/RiffTrax. Think of this as the slightly more bearable version of Dora The Explorer. Still, M&M wasn't a great show, but it wasn't a pile of dreck like Barney or Dora. It's a nice show to watch, to only make fun of it. This show no longer airs on PBS Kids and it hasn't since 2012 but if you want to riff this MST3K-style, go ahead. At least this isn't "Dora The Explorer" levels of bad, just "So bad it's laughably bad". At least the twins look okay for 10-year old Latino/Latina kids.
sitonpickle Maya is so annoying barding into people's business in every single episode and never learning her problems after each mistake. I wanna punch her huge head with those little balls on top that magically shock when she gets an idea.I have to admit that not all the episodes are that bad. There are only a few that actually kind of interest me, but all in all it's stupid. The idea of the show is, Maya gets an idea to fix something or help someone and it all turns out crazy, but it fails to do so. The zany and crazy events are very predictable and uncreative. I don't like the animation style, the trees are poofy like marshmellows, the buildings are all lopsided and crooked. The characters have huge heads and many of them are shaped like diamonds. I know they did this to create style for the animation, but this show's "style" just didn't work for me.
creatorofgoofwars Once you've seen one episode "Maya & Miguel", you've seen them all. Maya goes overboard and Miguel has to fish her out of whatever mess she's gotten herself (and others) into. However, there a few episodes that show that the show may have potential if they would ditch that stupid bird. I've never seen a children's show turn to their pet as much as they've turned to this annoying bird. I actually believe their character's may have enough to hold the show on their own if the writers would just let them. Also I know the show is called "Maya & Miguel", but why not let their friends have the spotlight a little more often? "Arthur" has many episodes that don't even star him, and his friends have proved to be just as interesting (or even more so then) as him. I will not give this show a completely awful rating cause I do believe that they could actually produce a good episode if they thought outside the box.
