Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

First off, there are times where its really easy to just hate the animation style, and there are times where you feel like your watch the spectacular Spiderman, which isn't good, because its very unbalanced and all the characters have very similar features, theres quite a lack of uniquethen the story, the story is fine, we don't need repetition, I like that miles Morales is there, the overall story is classic Spiderman: Peter Parker is a student, trying to balance school life with being Spiderman as well as maintaining his friendship with harry Osborn who's father is the CEO of a huge tech organization and secretly is out to get Spiderman for thwarting his secret criminal activities and for research
The problem is not the overall story, but with the events within the story, a running theme in spiderman is that Peter Parker is the genius amongst his friends, there, literally EVERYONE is a genius, even HARRY!!!! and while this is not a big problem, it takes away one of the things that makes him special.another thing is that while I'll applaud the show for being more serious than ultimate Spiderman, I feel that it should lean towards spectacular Spiderman, and have more personal and dark storylinesthe action sequences, like the animation style, can be static and boring sometimes and spectacular Spiderman-esque in others. this is a problem because its always leaving me wondering whether or not I'll enjoy any episode I'm watchingoverall, I appreciate the creators efforts to distance this show from other Spiderman shows, but I don't think the end results is quite what most Spiderman hoped to see

When looking at the rating for this particular show on IMDb prior to watching it, I was quite disappointed to find it sitting at 6.3. However, with Spider-Man being my favourite superhero and having seen all the other Spider-Man animated series' and films, I wanted to see it. The Spectacular Spider-Man was great, we all know that. I did not enjoy the Ultimate Spider-Man much and the 1990s version was just decent. However, as a Spidey fan, I feel this new one is a bit underrated. Most aspects of this series I really do like:Spider-Man/Peter Parker: This is as good a Spider-Man/Peter Parker portrayal as there will ever be. He feels and looks just like he should. Peter Parker is the science kid and is always innocent and busy. Spider-Man is very funny and cool to watch. I loved the Spectacular Spider-Man, but this new Spider-Man/Peter Parker, is just as good. (10/10)Supporting Characters: The supporting characters are different to usual. Peter Parker does not go to Midtown but to Horizon High, which is designed for science kids. There's Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn and a few others. Although the interactions are all good, personally I am not a fan of Miles Morales being part of a Peter Parker Spider-Man story. I feel it takes away from Peter Parker's Spider-Man, yet the emphasis is always really on Peter Parker's Spider-Man. Despite the limited role of Miles Morales, I would have hoped he just wasn't part of this series but he really is quite likeable. I prefer Spider-Man going to midtown high, with the constant interactions with Flash, Sally, Liz, MJ, Gwen etc, but this version suits me just fine after watching it. The one issue I do have is that there is too much focus on Peter Parker with Harry Osborn. I would have preferred to see more ineractions with the other supporting characters; Anya, Gwen, Miles, Aunt May etc. (9/10)Story: The villain stories are a bit far fetched as they always are, but sometimes it does get a bit ridiculous, but because it's Spidey, and it's fun, it's still enjoyable to watch. As mentioned previously, I do wish they showed more of Peter Parker's life though, say, more interactions with Aunt May, and even more interactions at Horizon High. In the Spectacular Spider-Man, they balanced Peter Parker and Spider-Man very well. Here, the two characters are balanced well, but most of Peter Parker's interactions are with Harry Osborn, I wish they would bring other characters in a lot more often. Something which is quite likeable is how the villains are dealt with, it's always something related to science and the people around Peter Parker. He and his friends usually work together to come to a conclusion in which they all use their scientific brains. That's a huge factor of Spider-Man and i'm glad this series shows that. (9/10)Overall, I feel this a very underrated series. If Peter Parker was the only Spider-Man, and if more of Peter Parker's interactions were shown with Gwen Stacy, Liz Allen, Flash, Aunt May and others, I would have probably have liked this series as much as the Spectacular Spider-Man series because they have got the character of Spider-Man/Peter Parker spot on here. As a Spider-Man fan, I recommend it, it's better than the Ultimate Spider-Man (which had too many outsiders coming into Spidey's universe) and also the 1990s version (As I prefer a younger Spider-Man/Peter Parker).

If this show is terminated I will hang myself off of Harry's glider. This is honestly the best Spider-Man show a person could ever witness, this is due to the image that was given to Peter Parker/Spider-Man and other characters such as Miles, Harry
and even Norman. If there was an option to give this infinite stars I would 100% click it.
