Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Outside of Agents Of Shield my experience of knowledge of the Inhumans is somewhat lacking and thus I was very much looking forward to watching this and then the television series down the line.Made by Marvel Knights the same people who made Wolverine: Origin this uses their same style of animated portrait style which sadly I really don't like.I appreciate the animation style but in small doses, for a movie with a 2+ hour runtime is overkill. The Inhumans story is bafflingly fragmented and poorly written, it wasn't until half way through that I felt it was a cohesive plot and even then just barely.I don't know if it's the uninteresting characters, that animation style I despise or the shoddiness of the whole thing but I've come away considering this to be possibly the worst superhero outing I've seen. One for Marvel Knights fans only. The Good: NopeThe Bad:I dislike that animation styleDull charactersDreadful plotThings I Learnt From This Movie:Marvel can most certainly do wrongThat animation style should be used in shorts and shorts alone

My all-time favorite Jack Kirby team was, hands down, The Inhumans. The premise was simple: they were the product of genetic engineering, endowed with super powers. Because of their built-in "differences," they were obliged to steer clear of we lesser mortals- but s*** happens, and they ended up interacting with the members of The Fantastic Four. The stories were always thoughtful and imaginative and I loved them as a kid (and still do). The Jae Lee artwork in INHUMANS is worth the price of a rental, but the writing is... lacking, to be kind. The writer's simply made the Inhumans considerably less heroic and more human (by making Gorgon a drunk, among other things) and droning on incessantly, driving home the point over and over again in a truly mind-numbing narration. Gone are the mysterious and often cosmic concepts that were the hallmark of Kirby's stories, the mix of mythology and science fiction that today's filmmakers simply don't seem to be able to grasp. The vignettes are too short to hold one's attention- especially in view of the pretentious approach- and a single 90 minute movie would've been better.

The Inhumans is not just entertainment, it has a wow factor as it unfolds due to the amount of intellect put into its execution. The writer Paul Jenkins is not a big comic book reader and brings a fresh take on the characters that could be viewed as an evolutionary leap in their designs. The way the super powers tie into the plot is done so smooth it would have you believe you are watching a concept that took years to develop over many series. This is a good sign that you are in the mist of great story telling done by a talented writer. The story is very original and has political and philosophical undertones that make it relevant to the times and easy to connect with. This live action comic book looks appealing to youngsters, but is not for kids. It has very little action and will be way over their heads. People have complained and argued as well, that live action comics are not animation. If you like The Maxx or are a fan of the Twisted Metal games you will immediately recognize the same style of animation used in Inhumans. So don't go into this expecting Akira. That being said the art work is top notch, fans of Jae Lee's art work will not be disappointed. If you love comic book art you should enjoy this series. Stunning art and tight writing make this live action comic a real joy to experience. I went into this with low expectations due to Amazon reviews, but after watching it I realize they must have been left by Teenagers who thought they were ordering the new teen titans. As live action comics go this is top shelf.
