The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

I liked Kendra ever since I saw her on the girls next door, she was funny and quirky and a joy to watch. When I caught wind of her reality show, I was excited. My excitement came to an end as I realized what kind of person she really is. She was ditsy on the girls next door, but I didn't I figured it was an act. No, she really is that stupid. Her husband was sweet, but I feel like they aren't meant for each other. Her mother seemed to be cashing into her daughter's success, and her brother was just there. When the season ended I was happy, it was nice to put on when nothing else was on...But it wasn't memorable. When the second season premiered, I thought maybe they would improve it? Nope, this time it was unbelievable scripted. Simple events were blown completely out of proportion. It was unbearable.Needless to say this needs to get off the air. I would only watch this if nothing else was on, and even then I would watch it while texting. Also, a few things that bugged me were how messy Kendra always looked. She rarely dressed up or combed her hair, I mean I know it's your life but your on TV!

I have to say that i never imagined Kendra as a committed girl and i was afraid she would have that kind of romantic, cheesy behavior that people have when they begin a romance. But NO! I am so glad she is still wild, funny...herself. It is a lot of fun watching her and her (ultra-sexy) fiancé. I have to admit they are perfect for each other. Another thing i was worried about when i decided to watch her show was missing Hef & the girls. Hef, Holly & Bridget make a little appearance in the beginning though... I am really impressed with Kendra because she managed to keep being herself despite the new life-style.The show (which has a HOT poster by the way) is entertaining & relaxing. If you loved Girls Next Door you will love this show too.
