Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Infamousta brilliant actors, brilliant editing
Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
lovettstough I think this show was or is great cause I'm just now watching it on Netflix. I can't believe this show didn't make it & last a whole lot longer like several more seasons. I do think they should have let Jake brother Eric get killed off and obviously Jake should have been the go to guy for leadership regardless of who was mayor or who was in any political position in town. Jake & the Hawkins guy are the only two who knew what they were doing when it came to defense of the town & training a military type security force for the town. I'm still now sure about the Hawkins guy on whether he is a terrorist at the point where I'm at in the first season and I'm only maybe six or so episodes in. I know right now if the left, democrats, independents, had to or wanted to do something like this, set off nuclear bombs on major cities especially anywhere that trump and pence and their cabinet and administration and republicans are or might be, to take this country back away from the real terrorist organization group the republicans, conservatives, the right, led by the evil crooked corrupt chump trump I would join the left, democrats, independents in doing so especially since I am already a U.S. MARINE. This is a really really great show & would be perfect if it were still being made now especially with this terrorist organization group the republicans, the conservatives, the right, led by the evil crooked corrupt chump trump running this country and with all the stuff going on with North Korea and Iran.
georgiamoxie I came across Jericho when I was looking for TV shows streaming that I hadn't seen before. I was hooked on this show after the first two episodes because there are rarely apocalyptic or war type shows that keep you out of the loop vs. watching the action front and center. It was pretty much how I'd expect it to be should this actually happen because we most likely won't have a clue. Intriguing! I could overlook the character stereotypes and melodrama.Once I hit somewhere around the 13th mark I was losing interest and by the last few episodes of the season I pretty much just had it on as background noise. Mysteries were sort of explained but the focus shifted to straight up melodrama in a Hatfield vs. the McCoys sort of way. I don't care enough anymore to start into the second season. It's a shame really, but the beginning was worth it.
lina petkova I watched the two series of "Jericho" but was disappointed to understand that the show has been canceled because of poor rating results. What a pity. Luckily for the fans the story continues in a series of comic books. Although the comics are really great I wish I had the opportunity to watch the show on TV but I guess I have to live with that. The show follows interesting plot that tells a captivating story and tackling some controversial issues referring to politics, government control and corporation affairs. I really liked almost all the characters, especially Jake, Heather, Hawkins, Eric and Dale. Emily is nice, although I don't think that the choice of an actress is quite correct. Don't get me wrong, Ashley Scott is great but isn't she too supermodel-beautiful for a post-apocalypse TV drama? On the other hand, Heather as leading female character seems to fit perfectly. As I see it, she is charming and down to earth. What I slightly disliked about the show is that it does not describe truthful picture of a post-apocalyptic world. Characters were not as desperate and hopeless as they should be, knowing that so many people have died in the nuclear blasts. I think they were not convincing enough. All things considered, the team has done a great job. The show just became exceedingly engaging and conspiratorial in the second series and they cancelled it. What a waste! To be honest, I am tired of getting to like TV series that turn out to be canceled eventually. It is so cruel to the fans.
ElessarAndurilS I just watched Jericho on Netflix and was both really impressed with the first season and shocked as hell that was pretty much it. Obvious from the nature of the hyper-speed season 2 episodes that the original intended story was meant to run much longer, I'm blown away that a show with so much potential was tossed after a year, and then after reading a bit brought back by popular demand, but only for 7 episodes in season 2 that barely could be considered the same show. The show was excellent and tugged at the emotions in many ways, I simply don't believe it was poor ratings that got it cancelled. From the average rating on here I see I'm far from alone. I remember seeing a little bit of it when it came out, but given I only had the first season I see why I don't remember it. It requires watching the whole story and has a great story line at so many levels that a season is like chapter 1 of a 20 chapter book in terms of possibilities. Season 2 ended where season 5-8 should have, setting the stage for an even more intense plot line. With so much junk on, it is so sad to see how many good shows had such short runs for reasons I can't comprehend. It was a great 22 episodes and could have been a great 192. Amazing how many shows I see online that were very good but barely given a chance, and even with many networks streaming their shows they ruin the experience with 1) having to have a provider to watch and 2) forced commercials that prevent you from watching an episode in multiple sittings. The provider's choke hold on the content providers which seems a bit backwards when the internet puts the value on the content providers side. Just so disappointed such a good show could have such a short run.
