Good idea lost in the noise
TrueHello
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
StyleSk8r
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Who wants to watch a competition that has no winner? Especially when the contestant loses simply to prove to the audience that it is possible. How else do you explain being ahead in points and having a solid dish that gets crushed by a fancy piece of toast and a bowl of muddy looking soup? AB was the only one to criticize his dish as not being uni forward enough, and AB is the one who wants everyone to know it is possible to lose his clever gauntlet. Save yourself the frustration and give this whole show a wide berth!

This road to Iron Chef simply doesn't seem to be quite as challenging as Next Iron Chef was. Bring back Next Iron Chef.
