Disturbing yet enthralling

It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.
Ava-Grace Willis
Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

This show was so hilarious and fun to watch, so extremely creative and such a vast difference from crap like sam and cat. It was so funny, with interesting characters. It was one of the only sitcoms on YTV that flowed smoothly, was coordinated, well-made, well- edited, proper dialogues chosen, characters acting well, etc. It's shocking how stupid the sitcoms now look, with choppy and homemade like scenes. However, after getting older, I realized how many DISGUSTING, FILTHY, PEVERTED shi* is full in this show. First of all, 'female undergarments' are not 'funny' in any manner and is disgustingly inappropriate to show them floating around in the air or referring to them constantly. Many other disgusting, repulsive parts that one want to puke show up many times. Carly says she's getting 'curves' and the repulsive reaction freddy has is unbearably disgusting. This filthy, scummish obsession with female body parts and undergarments in this entire show is really vulgar and outright ban-worthy. It's shocking how filthy like that even airs or how no one objects. But it's the western world, after all and without garbage there is no show.

Another hit from Dan Schneider. The show is full of quirky random behavior which I find pretty funny. The acting is okay, but not great. Sam Puckett's lazy and juvenile personality is hilarious and entertaining. Carly Shay is kinda meh, but still pretty like-able. Personally, I think Miranda is a pretty decent actress, but I feel she shines best when playing an "evil" character, like Megan from Drake and Josh. Spencer Shay's falling and fire gags were entertaining at first, but became sort of tired as the show went on. Overall, the show is pretty good. Maybe some touch ups on the acting here and there, but should provide entertainment for the whole family.

iCarly is promoting different themes of violence and sex, first of all, iCarly shows Jenette McCurdy as Sam Puckett who usually beats up everyone with no reason if there is a reason it's very shallow, come on Sam is so petite and skinny to play a bully, and she promotes gluttony which is a sin, because she carries her breakfast to school, has a microwave in her locker and keeps bacon in her pocket, but yet she's still thin! Come on! And Miranda Cosgrove one of the most awful actress in Nick, she plays an average girl Carly who's very selfish, seriously in the episode 'iTeach Sam to be more girly' she won't let Sam beat up the school bully even though she hurts her multiple times and then at the time she got beaten up she let's her do it! And Cosgrove's acting is lame and Carly just happens to kiss every boy that guest stars! Like James Maslow and that bad boy! And here's Freddie even though he's been rejected so many times by Carly he still continues to court her. And Spencer Shay a clueless adult who HAPPENS TO SCREAM HIS LINES!!! That bit is old! I can't believe Dan Schneider would go this low! How can they pay for Carly's Tuition and their Rent on the apartment and their food if their funds are only from iCarly's income! How pathetic! A website like that will only get $300 or lower which is not enough! And Spencer didn't gave Carly any Parental Guidance! And then there's Gibby! Remove his shirt! Remove his Shirt! Come on Directors! Give this kid some privacy! Apparently I quiet liked this Gibby kid but his acting is bad. Now about the sexual themes, I have watched the one-hour special 'iPhsyco' and then it has a lesbian kiss! But Dan said it was in the cheeks but it looked very close! And 'iThink They kissed! Come on! Is that big a deal when your just 15 to not have your 1st kiss yet? Seriously this is lame and stupid having no 1st kiss when your 13-15 is a big deal? And there's a scene where kids in the age of 10-12 took pictures of Freddie cause he didn't kissed a girl? So it turns out those girls had their lips kissed when they were just kids? Come on! That's serious garbage! And they keep have guest stars come on! Can't they have a moment of time where they only star in it?! iCarly is much more worse than True Jackson VP. Good thing Victorious didn't turned out like this. GOOD THING THE SHOW ENDED

iCarly is no exception. There are sitcoms out there that focused more on drama that it couldn't even BE a comedy. Mainly in the 90's. iCarly isn't a show that's made to change the world or solve world issues, it's a show people can sit down to make them smile and laugh after a long hard day. A show people can sit down to to check up on these characters and see what was new with them in their crazy little world.Although the show has that fame concept, it isn't like the other shows like Hannah Montana, Sonny With A Chance, JONAS. Those shows showed life within the entertainment industry. iCarly on the other hand, while they have a popular web show, they don't entirely live life as actual famous people. And that's to be said in a good way. They can walk through school without everyone in the room excited to see them. Webicon in iStart A Fan War was the only exception but the fans there represented what fans of iCarly are like (online). The web show itself is what changes most of the characters' lives. Freddie had to learn to work together with Sam and over time would learn to not let her get to him. As well, they also ended up becoming close because of the web show. And when they break up, it's shown at least three times towards the end that Sam is learning to get better because Freddie suggested as they were breaking up, to be a bit more normal. She could still be seen as Sam, but she was becoming better as a person, staying out of trouble as best as she could for example. Gibby is another example. Gibby's confidence grew because they could use the web show to help him get at least one date and although it doesn't turn out well as they hope, they still try to help him get his crush and he learns to just be okay with who he is. And to top it off, if the web show wasn't popular, then Nora Dershlitt from iPsycho and iStill Psycho would've never been fixated on the iCarly gang and Gibby would've never rescued them and become more appreciated by the characters and the fans of this show - with maybe the exception of Sam by a little bit. Also to go along with it, I loved the props and the sets. The Groovy Smoothie, Spencer's wacky sculptures, the Shay apartment, the iCarly studio, Sam's remote, Penny Tees, spaghetti tacos, they were all a real, fun treat. This show was great for me to go home to. The characters were great in their own way and even just reading quotes (even in the characters' voices) alone I can find iCarly making me smile and laugh. I don't like saying anything entertaining made my childhood, but this is part of my childhood.
