Dreadfully Boring

The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Kodie Bird
True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

I see a BUNCH of negative comments about Ashley. IMO, Seth is WAY worse. The way he disrespects his dad by calling him "Les" is horrible! Business or not; it should be about RESPECT!I also don't like the way he talks to Ashley and curses her on the workroom floor in front of customers and staff. People that disparage Ashley with no mention of Seth's behavior are being grossly unfair.Seth is much worse. He went behind his dad's back to "consult" for another pawn shop.He also tried to sell the Pontiac location right from under him. What gave him the right to even consider doing it.He has a really bad attitude and for reason, thinks he's better than everyone; even his dad who built the business entirely without him.Yeah, Seth is not an innocent in this AT ALL.Ashley worked in the business for a long time before Seth gave up on medical school to join the business. Now he disrespects her at EVERY turn and somehow feels she's not worthy to be there because she took a couple years off to have/raise her children.Me and countless other women throughout the annals of time have exactly the same thing.I. CAN'T. STAND. HIM!!!

Is the pawn shop business that lame that you have to script the whole thing with people I wouldn't even call "actors". "Shows" which doesn't even deserve that name its more "garbage TV" that ruin the whole reality TV, are they that desperate to fill air time to include this.Is the pawn shop business that lame that you have to script the whole thing with people I wouldn't even call "actors". I started watching this show and I immediately discovered it was fake and staged. First of all the show is racially motivated to show the worst ghetto Blacks or Thug people they can find. The demands they make are not even logical. So as soon as they walk in you know right away there is going to be a big scene of cursing, fighting and degrading ignorance of making embarrassing fools of themselves on nationwide TV. Not so with the white customers, they always seem to be cordial. After all the threats, next the Owners challenges the thug Customers and comes out front as though they themselves are going to do something about the situation. But then next out comes the Big Black body guard to throw the person out of the store. It always end with the person leaving by cursing and walking away in the parking lot with threats of coming back. But none of these threats are ever carried out.We all know in the real world today there would be a revenge, or shootout and sooner or later somebody would have eventually ended up seriously hurt or dead.

Hardcore pawn more like hardcore boring. It's borderline racist. The 3 main star's LOL if you can call them that are so self centered and money hunger that they would take candy from a baby. When the show first aired it was worth watching but has gone downhill they have fired so many people off the show that made it worth watching now its just a show of 3 self centered creeps wait a 2nd the new girl had a little hope at first but even now she is acting like all the other Gold's.If you must watch a pawn show go with Pawn Stars.
