For bird hunters around the world, goose hunting ranks at the top of the list. This is because geese are very alert birds that are not easily outsmarted. Hunters require great skills to achieve success. Goose Fever follows five hunters during the autumn migration in Southern Sweden through all the steps that make up a successful goose hunt. Shooting skills, scouting for geese, blind-building and coordinated shooting are all part of the game. It is not about how many geese can be taken. The ethical hunter harvests a few birds for his cooking pot without seriously disturbing the thousands of birds on their way south.
