Info

G.I. Joe Extreme is the name of a short-lived line of military-themed toys by Hasbro, a two-season cartoon show by Sunbow Productions, and two 4-issue comic mini-series by Dark Horse Comics. It is a sequel of sorts to the previous G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero TV series, with a one-shot pack-in video called Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles bridging the two series. However, the only character carried over from the video was Sgt. Savage himself. As a result, many collectors consider the Screaming Eagles toys to be part of the G.I. Joe Extreme toyline. The new line features a storyline quite similar to the original. In a "near-future" continuity, a new G.I. Joe Team fights to stop a rising terrorist organization called "SKAR" and their leader, a mysterious, shrewd, and incredibly powerful military leader only known as "Iron Klaw".

G.I. Joe Extreme Audience Reviews

TeenzTen An action-packed slog
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Blake Rivera If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
jamarmiller I loved this show I hated the toys but loved the show. If you saw both seasons of this show you know this was one of the most well written Joe shows we have ever gotten. Much more Characterization than any other previous GI JOE TV series gave to its Characters. Almost every character has a lot of back ground that goes into who they are!The Villains are interesting and thought out as well too. Wreckage is the tragic ex hero turned Villain Inferno was the picked on Kid, Rampage was the Weapons supplier who did too many experiments on himself which resulted in some rather bad side effects. And SKAR is much bigger than previous thought ( if you saw season 2) Steel Raven just kicks but as the Season 2 female Baddie!check this site out for more info http://firefly05.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=extreme
Brenning1 Im only thirteen. When I was little, I watched GI Joe RELIGEIOUSLY. I still have about twenty or thirty men. When I heard they were doing a remake of the series, I pulled out our paper and found the time. Great insult to a great shoe. The characters are all muscle brained know nothings who bear absolutly NO resemblence to the characters of the old TV Show. If you want GI Joe, hed out to your video store. THey most likely have most of the episodes on video.
Op_Prime This show was an update of the classic G.I. Joe series. In my mind this series was okay, but not nearly as good as the original show or as creative. The animation was nothing to laugh at though. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think this show was ever given any closure which was rather disappointing.
