Info

Darcy's Wild Life is an American-Canadian television series, filmed during 2004-2006, and broadcast on Discovery Kids and the Family Channel. The show revolves around Darcy Fields, the daughter of an eccentric actress who decides to move away from Malibu to raise her daughter in a more normal environment. Darcy is slow to adjust to her new home in the country. She gets a job at a local veterinary clinic called Creature Comforts. The show is mostly about the humorous situations Darcy gets into while adjusting to her new surroundings. Darcy's Wild Life aired daily on the Discovery Kids Channel until its cancellation. The show's title is a pun on the word "wildlife", which is the main theme of the show. The title refers to Darcy's eccentric life dealing with wildlife. Many episodes also had titles based on puns, such as "Puppy Love", "Swine Flew the Coop", "Knockin' on Heaven's Doggie Door" or "The Trouble with Truffles".

Darcy's Wild Life Audience Reviews

Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
tawidmerfoe first, i think it is a great teen show, 95% clean, fun, some action, good characters, although eli is a bit over the top, and mostly original, if a bit goofy, story lines. the people playing all the parts are very natural and great! too bad sara paxton is the only one who really has done anything else, would love to see more, esp, from shannon! but who is the girl who plays phoebe, the "girlfriend" of the boys? she looks really familiar, but cannot find her in any of my usual sources? she is great, and incredible facial expressions! also, not arguing or anything, just curious, why the 10 line limit?any help would be appreciated. thanks!
rscampb My family loves this show, it has become a Saturday afternoon staple for our family. The stories could be a bit more fleshed out, instead of having two stories running simultaneously they should concentrate on one, but for a 30-minute family show it is very good. I think that Shannon Collis and Sara Paxton are a terrific team and they are even better when they include they include the third girl (sorry I don't recall her name). The only negative comment I can make is about the Jack character. Andrew Chalmers plays him very well, but they just do not make good use of him. And you just can't miss the antics of the farmhand Eli. Even if you do not care for girls Kerry Saxena's slapstick comedy is worth watching.
Ragnarok-5 Why isn't Melanie Leishman on the list of actors who are on the show? She is in the opening credits, and she is in a fair number of the episodes. Sure, she does not have a big role in the series. The little kid is in more scenes than her. Still, she is a part of the show. So could you please add her to the list of actors on IMDb.com? I tried looking her up and its as if she does not exist.I'll give an alternative review of whoever gave their review of this show since I have to give 10 lines for a comment. I think this is a nice show, and is better than Lizzie McGuire. I don't think this will be the greatest show of all time, but its cute, and its fun to watch. Its a lot more entertaining than that Simple Life.
rspearson Darcy's Wildlife is one of the best shows on Saturday morning. It's hard to not like Sara Paxton and Shannon Collis. They have natural acting ability and their comic timing is perfect. This weeks show was about a Hollywood reporter who was interviewing them with the twisted intent to make Darcy's mother look like a idiot or crazy person. Darcy is shocked that a "entertainment journalist" would stoop so low. Lessons are learned and he is taught one in the end. Great stuff. I really like the bloopers from that weeks taping that are shown at the very end. This series should be a hit and I look to see Sara and Shannon a lot in the future!
