lilamendezes12 All right, so Dancing with the Stars is what it is. It's a entertaining show for people who like music and or dance. For me, over the past 12 years, it has become something of a tradition for me and my family to watch. Every season is different, and every season there are those who complain about the season's cast not being "stars." However, anyone who has watched this show knows that the term "star" is used subjectively- you are not going to find current major movie stars doing this show, although you may find a former A-lister doing the show. That is just the nature of this show. There are always dancers on the show who have more dance experience than others, and it is never going to be a completely even playing field. But for me, and countless other viewers, that is what makes this show what it has become over the years! So, watch and enjoy it!

B Ward Why is it that Derrick is never paired with a person that has no dancing experience? Keto, who just started, is getting a "Bad" rap. He was voted off the first week last year, and it's not looking good this season. Is there any wonder why Maxx left? I hope someone speaks out on this issue. It almost seems as though the paring is "FIXED", but say it isn't so!!! I am hoping that Keto gets an opportunity to prove that all he needs is the right partner. Maybe Maxx needs to come on a show and speak up about the "Bad" rap that was given to him over and over. Is it that no one wants to challenge Derrick with a partner such as a "Non- dancer?Just one person's opinion!!!

ujju_27 Me and my children have been watching this show for many years. Our entire family love the show. One of the very few shows to watch with kids. But why rate 5? My issue is with ads. Ads are so inappropriate to watch with kids. Example: ad of 'Mistresses' pops up in every break. It shows people cheating on each other, throwing each other towards wall, bed etc. For adults it may be good. But for children of 5 -12 years of age, as parents we thrive to keep their innocence as much as possible. Take care of them as little princesses. Teach and show good in this world. But why don't the directors for this show think that way? I really hope this TV show directors think sensitively and make this show viewable to all ages including ads.

raybeard The death of reality TV lingers and morphs so painfully slowly. It grew more and more popular as the gong show became Jerry Springer and Cops and we have come full circle. They lament the gradual decline in ratings as each show tries to freshen itself like salting an old green piece of beef and declaring it's "still good!"How this show can score anything above a 3.0 with sci-fi B-minus movies with crayon special effects remains a true mystery. Talk about your lipstick on a pig! Just because women like dancing and we add dancing and people magazine reject stars doesn't "make it work"Perhaps if we can get Marie Osmond back on stage to fall down a few times people might mistake it for a slapstick comedy but otherwise this show is DOA. Not entertainment in any perspective.
