The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

I always wanted to leave a review to my favorite show of all time, so here it is.Being very inconsistent through its lifespan of 6 seasons, the first 3 being excellent and the last 3 not so much, Community takes a lot of risks and is full of hits and misses. But when it hits, it's a 10/10.Modern Warfare, Remedial Chaos Theory, Cooperative Caligraphy, Digital Estate Planning, Epidemiology, Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design, Basic Lupine Urology and Contemporary American Poultry are among the best comedy episodes of all time, blending different movie genres and references in a brilliant comedic setting. The all-star cast is always great and even though some of them leave in the middle of the series, the rest still holds the show up. Props to Danny Pudi for the Abed portrayal, which is by far the best and most important character in the show. All in all, it's extremely worth watching and a fun ride that is full of heart. You'll be forever in my heart, Greendale! Thank you to the whole cast and crew for creating this masterpiece! #sixseasonsandamovie

This show can be hilarious, often, but it's got an ISIS-like attitude underneath that rears its head occasionally. One of the best (or worst) examples is the "Glee" episode where they argue for getting Jesus into public schools. Even worse was the documentary episode where Abed took over Shirley's idea and played Jesus in his own film. At the end Shirley stormed in and smashed thousands of dollars worth of equipment in the name of the lord. Some people claim they want to fight against Sharia laws but then when it's Christian laws they are gung-ho about it. Well, institutionalized, politicized religions are repressive by nature. When a TV show endorses destruction of property and violence for religious reasons, we are in dark times.

When I first started this show, I was loving it SO MUCH, enjoying every character and their silly humor. All the nonsense and the cartoonization they suffered throughout the seasons reminded me a lot of Scrubs, which is my favorite show of all time. The world they built for the series is inspiring and it activated my imagination to the point the characters and that reality kept living on in my head. But then I got to the monotonous and forced season 4 finale, that I believe it was the moment when they jumped the shark. In season 5, the show seemed superficial and not funny at all, especially with characters leaving for no reason and things coming out of nowhere, so I dropped it.Still, Community holds a place in my heart and I'm glad for all the laughs I had with it, a great show and I'd recommend it to anyone!

I came to Community after finishing Rick and Morty and looking for more created by Dan Harmon. I was not disappointed with Community. This is by far one of the best shows I've ever seen. It took me 2 weeks to watch it start to finish.Community starts with Jeff just making up a study group to get into Brita's pants but as the show progresses he becomes closer to the study group. They have their ups and downs in this group but overall value each other as friends. The cast seems like a dream-team so to speak because every actor plays their role phenomenally. Each character has their own quirks that make them funny and different, even characters that come up less like Fat Neil and Leonard. If you've seen a lot of popular movies and TV shows it will drastically improve your viewing pleasure. I say this because the show has a lot of references throughout the series. Whether it's one quote, a small segment of the show, or even the whole episode they're able to pull this off very well. The show gets a little less enjoyable after Shirley, Troy, and Pierce leave but it still manages to be funny.Overall it definitely deserves a 9/10. I'd recommend it to people with a lot of movie knowledge so they can fully enjoy the allusions within.
