Chowder Audience Reviews

Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Borgarkeri A bit overrated, but still an amazing film
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
mitsubishizero I grew up watching this show as a kid and I have to say it brings back good memories! It's a shame this show ended so early though at least it went out with a bang. The main character is the title character who is aspiring to be a chef. Chowder's likable and goofy to watch whether he succeeds or not. Guiding him in his quest to be a chef is his mentor Mung Daal who is sometimes uptight yet caring and understanding. Chowder also has to deal with Mung's cranky wife Truffles and Mung's irritable assistant Schnitzel. What makes the show great are the original stories, voice acting, wordplay, funny gags and fourth wall breaking at times. I should also mention the supporting characters too. Ms. Endive and her apprentice Panini who has a crush on Chowder, (much to his dismay) and Gorgonzola who is also great due to his pessimism and strong dislike of Chowder despite the latter's opposite feelings. My favorite episode is The Apprentice Games because of the gags as well as how well the characters work off each other from Mung and Endive's rivalry to Panini and Ceviche's friendship. Bottom line, I can't say enough as to how great this show is. I highly recommend it.
Daniel Dell I was 10 years old when Chowder first premiered, and already, I admired Chowder. Chowder was literally one of Cartoon Network's last great shows. Yes, I know people don't like this show, but I did. I LOVE Chowder growing up as a kid!! The series follows an aspiring young child named Chowder and his day-to-day adventures as an apprentice in Chef Mung Daal's catering company. Although he means well, Chowder often finds himself in predicaments due to his perpetual appetite and his nature as a scatterbrain. This is arguably the show that tried to save Cartoon Network from going downhill, and I think this is the best show to come out of Cartoon Network's dark age. I know it can be a bit uncomfortable and gross at time, but it also makes up for it by delivering really creative uses of animation, wonderful characters, heartfelt moments, and beautifully hilarious jokes. The creator of this show also created Harvey Beaks on Nickelodeon. Just because this was a part of Cartoon Network's downfall doesn't mean that it sucks. Heck, EVEN AS AN ADULT, I still love watching Chowder!!!! It is a gazillion times far more better than the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack!! And yes, this show also had the makers of the Modifyers working on it. Overall, I think Chowder is a very creative and very funny 2000s kids cartoon, and I will ALWAYS miss being in the wonderful city of Marzipan City.
GravityLoudHouseLover1 Hey Guys it's me RegularShow1 here again and today going to review "Chowder" a show used to be on Cartoon Network and now airs on Boomerang as of June 2, 2014. Anyway this Show was about a Cat-Bear-Rabbit thing Named Chowder who loves to eat and cook with his Cooking Master Mung Daal. You might think this show is weird at fist but its very unique like the characters are named after different kids of food. My Favorite episode is "Chowder's Girl Friend" which was in season 1. "Chowder" was Created By C.H. Greenblatt who is who also the creator of the Nickelodeon "Harvey Beaks" which is an awesome show btw . Anyway this was really good show and I'm giving 10 out 10 stars. Anyway I'm going also do a review on "Harvey Beaks" maybe tomorrow or Saturday. Anyway this RegularShow1 signing off. See you.
Tronman73 So, in the 90's, came an original cartoon that was gross, vulgar, and plain out crazy. That is Ren and Stimpy, possibly the best true Nicktoon ever made. The vulgar humor was a first. This made it unique, and easy to watch for kids.Come 2000, we get Invader Zim. Not bad, but not as great. Then we get Billy and Mandy, another vulgar cartoon, but this was not a good one. Then we have Spongebob trying to make vulgar humor. Did not go too well. So by the time we get to '08, we get this. And guess what kid's, it's trying to be vulgar too! This is from the mind of C.H. Greenblat, who worked on Spongebob. "Greeeeaaaaaaaaat", Tronman said, disgusted by the thoughts (read my review). So it's about a boy/raccoon/thing named Chowder trying to be a chef. He apprentices under Mung Dahl, a legendary chef who is old and nervous of Chowder's cooking, since it usually fails. Mung has an assistant named Schnitzel, who can only say "Radda Radda". "Oh man," Tronman remarked, "That's just Hilarious". So the show goes three ways, Chowder trying to make something and failing, a competition against Endive, another chef and rival of Mung's, and finally, making chowder loving a food and over consuming it. And that's about it. Yup. Thats all. Maybe a running gag or two but not much else. yuuuuuuup. Oh yeah, this is also vulgar. BIG FREAKING SURPRISE! But this is just another failing attempt to get Cartoon Network back to it's peak. As a 1337 would say "LULZ, Epic FAIL!!!
