hyped garbage
StyleSk8r
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Sabah Hensley
This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
Jemima
It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

Carl2 is about Carl Crashman, a teenage boy who, by way of the internet, manages to secure himself an exact clone of himself (with the exception that it speaks higher, and acts in a different manner). Carl, being one who doesn't like to complete many of his responsibilities, uses the clone to his advantage- such as when his girlfriend Skye Blue wanted him to help out at the pound. This usually leads to the expected problems, when the clone does something wrong, and Carl will find that his plans will not go exactly according to plan. The digital animation is in a style which appears to be gaining use, a smooth and elaborate system of motion for objects and characters- with a simplified or exxagerated background. The animation quality, therefore is guaranteed to be good. The style itself is alright- not as bad as some of the computer animated series. The characters have the possibility of further development, and the series could certainly progress further. Overall, quite an entertaining show.

I live in Canada and this show is one of my favourites on the Teletoon channel.Carl² is about a teenage boy called Carl Crashman and he hates doing everything a normal teenage boy around his age would do. Except playing around. This is why the show is called Carl Squared. Carl decides to make a clone of himself and lets "it" do all the things Carl would do. He has to keep his clone a secret so he hides him in his closet. He names the clone C2.Carl Squared, in my opinion, is a great show for pre-teens and teens because it provides an excellent idea of what normal and most weird teens would do. It has the romance (Carl has a girlfriend called Sky), and the "Hey-Dawg-you-wanna-hang-out" thing. Carl's older sister: Cloe, or as her GOTH friends call her: Dark Damzel, is a dark sort of girl that I personally hate! Overall I say this show gets an 8/10. I'd recommend it, and advise you to watch it anytime your in Canada!

Carl sends his clone C2 to do his dirty work for him. An example of this is... Carl hates responsibly. One day Carl and his sister Cloey were made to clean their rooms to get their allowances. Their Mom and Dad cuts their allowances till they work for it. Cloey hates the idea because the dark spirits would hate it. Carl also hates the idea because of the responsibility thing, but he sends his clone to do it for him. Clone boy does such a good job, his Mommy's friends wants him to do their house. Carl was kinda high stung over this until he found out money was involved in it. So Carl let clone boy go ahead and do it, making Carl look responsibly. And all goes well until they buy industrial cleaning supplies that makes C2 sick. Carl then has to do it himself, which he hates the idea of it. But only plans to do it until C2 gets better, but messes that up. He loses the job clone boy got, but is kinda happy about it. (I cant remember what the name of the episode is)
