Caillou Audience Reviews

GetPapa Far from Perfect, Far from Terrible
Infamousta brilliant actors, brilliant editing
Contentar Best movie of this year hands down!
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
eklipsikxwolf I watched Caillou as a kid. Looking back, that was one of the worst things I ever did. -Caillou is a show where no lessons are taught whatsoever. It's just basically a documentary of his life. -I don't think anyone could honestly say he's not spoiled, whiny, and self-centered; he could even be called a jerk (look up a clip on YouTube and see for yourself). -For example, he can throw tantrums, complain about Rosie, and his parents and those around him take the passive approach. Caillou whines right off the bat in "Caillou Plays Baby" because "Rosie doesn't have to clean up." -Is this doing anything positive for kids? If anything, it's teaching them they can do whatever they want because they won't ever encounter any bad things as a result of their actions.
ea-47429 This show focuses on the misadventures of your average bratty 4 year old, exploring the world and interacting with his friends. Or is that really what the show's about? Most people think Caillou is a show about a whiny young boy with cancer, whose parents spoil him because they know he will die soon. This is actually not the case at all. In reality, Caillou is a young Agent 47, hence why he's bald. Before he became a trained assassin, he was just an average kid with no hair. And his parents spoil him, because they fear that if they say no to him, he'll slash their throats while they're sleeping. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!
adamjowett416 I'm not sure if all these previous reviews are just trying to get a laugh but this show is nowhere near as bad as they've stated. First of all Caillou displays normal behaviours for a 3 to 4 year old and the entire point is that he acts out or gets upset and then the parents teach him how to react in that situation. I think this is obviously going over the heads of all the previous reviewers. His voice is a bit high and can be annoying but the point is that the show teaches children a lot and they love it, parents and comedians alike will just have to suffer through it and sacrifice for their children, which many seem unable to do. Long story short it's an educational show that children really love, parents not so much, and it does teach them.
info-36-866636 I only logged on here after having to endure a Caillou episode last night with my 3 year old. This show has absolutely NO educational value. I'm shocked that this is allowed on Treehouse. This child sets no example for your children. Last night's episode was laced with the word "stupid" now I can only hope that at the end there was some kind of message but the amount of times that the word was used likely defeated the purpose. I am looking for a way to block this show on Netflix. This show is not suitable for children and should be taken off the air. If there was a petition to sign, I would sign it in a heart beat. WORST Children's SHOW EVER.
