Gutsycurene
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
FrogGlace
In other words, this film is a surreal ride.
Asad Almond
A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

This show was the best, before it's time. It would have an audience even now. I don't know what company was in charge, The WB, CW or ABC Family? (They missed the ball) I watched the show when it came out in 2012 and now again in 2018. (Big thanks Hulu!) This could have been as big as "Jane the Virgin" or "Crazy Ex Girlfriend". I would love to see this relaunched, (that's all they're doing these days) But honestly, this was only the show it is/was because of the cast and creators (Sutton Foster and Kelly Bishop, love, love and the girls, and my favorite content creator Amy Sherman Palladino)

Let me start by saying Gilmore Girls is my favorite show. Ever. I have seen the entire show all the way through 4 times and still go back to watch my favorite episodes. And when I found out Amy Sherman Pallidino did this show, I was so excited. But I watched the pilot and have never seen such garbage. The show is about a Vegas dancer who is basically being stalked by that awkward guy from Ferris Beuller. Despite the fact that she has been blowing him off EVERY MONTH for A YEAR, Ferris Bueller's buddy just doesn't get the memo! He spends tons of money to buy her things and take her out to dinner, but I don't think he knows anything about her. And then she agrees to marry the freak??? Now, granted, she does not appear to be the brightest crayon in the box. So maybe this seemed like a good idea. Who knows. But at this point I am so turned off by the completely awful, acting, ridiculously far fetched plot, and pathetic and hate able characters that I turned it off. I wanted to like this show. Really. Truly I did. Especially when people compared the humor to Gilmore Girls. Do not be fooled. It is not funny. It is not creative. I cannot think of a single redeeming quality. Don't waste your time.

I love Bunheads and I think it stands out in all the TV shows of today, I was told to keep it simple so here are reasons why you should at least give Bunheads a chance:1. It is truly funny, we are talking quick and sassy dialog! 2. The actresses (and the fewer seen actors) are outstanding and believable, from the slightly crazy dance instructor, to the not so ballerina looking wannabe bunhead to the over-achieving nerd who waits tables.... 3. The dancers are professionally trained and don't just act as dancers 4. Sutton Foster and Kelly Bishop 5.The quirky small town setting including all the hilarious charactersIf you like good dialog a pinch of drama and quirky characters you will not be disappointed!

The expression "wow" pretty much represents the twirl of emotions i feel when i watch Bunheads.Wow, why fake the reviews on a TV show. It's not like you have to bring people to the theatres, newsflash, if people watch something on TV and it sucks, they got a thing called remote control, one button and voilà', they're watching something else.Wow, that Bailey Buntain is smokin' hot; check out her hot bod. Big shoulders and blond hair, i could watch this show just to see her. Wow, this show is slipping rapidly. Nice pilot (i believe someone else wrote this on their review .. and i agree), but after a rapid plot twist, we're left with a girls-only show where "who wears what dress to the party" becomes enough plot material to make an episode. This show is supposed to have some great supporting characters but someone forgot that supporting characters are supposed to be an addition to the main plot line, and as it seems now the main, Stacey Oristano (Truly "Awful" Stone) quickly did a sidestep out of centre stage, and is now just standing still while other characters pivot around her doing her stuff. The Mother is essentially the main character (if we go by number of lines which, in cinema AND theatre, is generally a good indication of who is really the main character) yet it was written to be the pseudo- evil bitch who might/might not turn into a heart of gold. Ofc all we get is "whine whine whine" "i'm old and i'm a mum and i used to dance".The little girls are just not impressive as actresses; yeah OK, so it's decent for daytime TV (meaning "that which is on, but you don't *actually* have to watch it"), more or less the same acting level of Buffy or Twilight, but this show cannot in any way compare to the new shows such as Girls, Whitney (and other W.Cummings shows), Suits, etc ..I can't really watch a hour long show just to take three 10-seconds peeks at Bailey Buntain's sweet derrière; if you are like me, you would do well to avoid this and not waste your time waiting for something cool to happen.Honestly i'm not even sure what this is. Comedy? Drama? i don't know.vote reserved for now, but not really more than a boring 5/10
