djronniebruno I gained a new found respect for the military when I saw what they go through on this show. The Marines are shown on a daily basis fighting directly with the Taliban. Battleground Afghanistan gives an insight into what these Marines go through fighting the war in Afghanistan. I found the show not only entertaining but educational as well. The characters featured in the show are likable and draw the viewer in with their different background stories and explanations. The guys featured are from the GOLF Co. and can only be called heroes as they go in hard on the enemy with a bravery that is admirable and skills that can only be found in the US Military. This show is a must see and will keep viewers on the edge of their seat.
