I absolutely love this show! I especially love season 2! In fact, I like season 2 a lot more than season 1. I love the four cadre that were picked, and I love the fact they used "vulnerable" participants. The drama and the craziness makes it so much more entertaining! It's so relatable and I love seeing all the dynamics of contestants. I also love the dynamics and the differences among the Cadre. I look forward to watching this show every Sunday! I hope that if this is renewed for a 3rd season, they design it the same way it was for Season 2.

Season 1=10/10, Season 2=3/10. Season 1 had it all, physical challenges, cadres with killer backgrounds, and obstacles courses that had to be completed before the final challenge had to be completed! It made sense. Now, it's too much reality. These women Marines are so emotional (not that they shouldn't be), and the 2 cadre men are typical I guess. One is supposed to be a drill Sargent but half the stuff he says for motivating his crazy emotional team is flat out dumb. You have a high school reject looking to be popular or have a redo in life, another girl on the same team cries every episode (literally). Another chick, does her makeup every episode & could give 2 you-know-what's about the competition & on top of it, her boobs couldn't be more present in every episode as well. Season 1 was about athletic challenges and about the contestants, now it's just about the reality and helping people from people who have serious problems themselves. To be honest, these cadres look like they were the rejects in their respective branches. Im sure even John Cena is like "what the heck did I sign up for with this season?" FOX- please go back to the original premise of the show with real contestants, real cadres, and real hardcore challenges that show American GRIT!

This show is easy and fun to watch. The setting (scenery) was beautiful and the lodge where they stayed was amazing. It is so cool to see places like this. Well done and entertaining challenges, inspirational dialogue and John Cena is perfect as the host! I am so impressed by him. My whole family loved this show and are now huge fans of John Cena, even though we were never into wrestling. Watching the Cadres motivate and bond with the contestants was so neat. I would love to see this show continue. I hope there are many more seasons to come. We don't watch much TV but did not miss an episode of this first season and will definitely watch the next season. This show is great- I would even love to watch all of the same Cadres return to do the next season. So great!!!

This show is exciting, and enticing to watch. I can see where some people lose interest. Just due to the lack of motivation this country has anymore(obesity rates show this). If you like Spartan team challenge or American Ninja Warrior, I personally think you will like this show. It has a humorous side to it with John Cena being the main show event holder. I am confused on how anyone that enjoys watching anything, physical, military, or just ruggedness would not like this show. The outdoorsy type of show that you would expect to show what the American people can endure, one girl literally pushes herself so hard her body shuts off when she is doing the ice bucket challenge. If even 1 out of 10 Americans could push as hard as she did at anything that they tried I believe that America could once again become a great nation. by that I mean no disrespect to anyone, but if we can coddle people that think they have a disability due to the fact they are to lazy to motivate themselves to get up and exercise and overfeed themselves and there children. That is not American. American Grit really just shows you how far the body can go if you push it. John Cena does an amazing job with this show and I hope it goes on to several more seasons
