American Body Shop is an improvised comedy show on Comedy Central that revolves around a dysfunctional body shop in suburban Phoenix, Arizona and the accident-prone crew that works there. The show came to Comedy Central after its creator, Sam Greene, shot the pilot on his own, put it on a DVD and mailed it to "the networks". After only one season, the show was canceled.

Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
Matylda Swan It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
Married Baby Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
TesaRants It is a hilarious show that died prematurely. The show is similar to Taxi with similar colorful characters. The situations are put together masterfully and the acting is superb. The stories revolve around a dysfunctional body shop that has to survive by getting new work even if it is by chasing ambulances and things like that and the master mechanic in the show is somewhat of a genius that does not quite produce the outcomes expected. The show has a number of dysfunctional men that try to fix things but rarely succeed as they become victims of unanticipated accidents. It would have been a classic if more people would have seen it.
jpooch00 To me, this is one of the funniest new shows on television. The sight gags and characters, story lines, situations - everything - just comes together and makes for a very amusing and entertaining program format.I have actually worked in an auto body shop and, let me tell you, some of this stuff is pretty close to reality! The employees and the beautiful receptionist are right on target. The owner is not the usual sleazy character that is usually associated with these kinds of operations, which is a nice departure from the norm. He ends up being more at the mercy of his employees rather than the slave-driving overlord. The writers surely have some inside experience in the world of auto body repair or they must know someone who does.Comedy Central has a winner here - if they don't screw it up!
