Akame ga Kill! Audience Reviews

Greenes Please don't spend money on this.
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
phoenix 2 A nice action packed anime, which had some plot failures, but it was entertaining overall. So, from where should I start? Firstly, the MC was a bit of odd, with his geeky clothes but super cool powers, not to mention a well built body topped by a kid's head. So, that and the fact that there were too many deaths in this one. The blood bathed action scenes were actually good, but there were too many hands gone missing. I mean, why did they have to be only the arms? Then, as a shounen, it had the overly exposed female characters, which didn't interrupt with the plot, but there were too many girls over the boys...Other than that, the universe of this anime was really interesting and the girl MC was super cool. So, 8 out of 10.
aidan again SPOILERS this show has great characters, great story, great action, and even good comedy. I love this show its one of my favorite Japanese anime shows I've ever sat through. I'm nearly done with the series and hope that they would maybe come out with "Akame ga Kill Zero". Never heard of it? Well its a manga series that started this year and the first issue was good. now lets get the bad out of the way and yes this is the spoiler these amazing characters that I rooted for and who I want to see them succeed in their missions die off in few of the episodes which makes me sad. I love all the characters they have a great bond that is pretty believable but they get killed off. There's great characters Chelsea who can turn into anyone or anything (like a cat or another person). Tatsumi who wanted to join the capital but instead joins the group "Night Raid". "Mine" who has a awesome gun that shoots a strong laser. Leone who is like a loin and has powerful paws for hands and some other ones that are cool but cant really remember. Akame is a strong character who got her and her sister "Kurome" who is not with "Night Raid" and one of the hottest villains "Esdeath" who can has ice as power. Again this show is funny, awesome, tragic, and sad I wish I could give this show a ten but the consistent killing of amazing characters is painful. All in all great show has comedy and great animation along with action is worth checking out but again has just one problem check it out.
swapchanzz this anime makes you feel nothing , just some good fight scenes overall the story is good but the way it is told is really lame and boring . characters: just like every other anime out there characters are filled with cliché , it has an super skilled female lead and amateur male lead who constantly practices and becomes powerful and every other female characters falling for him , i could have digest it really easily but there is no character development as though the makers made this anime in a lot of hurry .. the story is simple about corruption in an empire and has not many surprises , the story behind each character seems very dull with no effort made to develop their background , they just show two minute explanation as to what is driving them and it felt to me like they make no sense about why they are doing whatever it is they are doing . this anime could have been way better with very little effort .
Tweekums Protagonist Tatsumi comes from an impoverished village; one day he and two friends leave home, heading to the capital to join the army and earn money for themselves and the village. Tatsumi is separated from his friends, robbed of what little he has and is unable to join the army. He thinks things are looking better when he is 'rescued' by a wealthy family… but they have no intention of helping him; they plan to kill him! Luckily he is rescued from them by a rebel group known as 'Night Raid'. While with them he learns how the government is corrupt and that they are trying to defeat it. Tatsumi is invited to join their group and after training he is soon fighting alongside them. Night Raid and their enemies don't fight with ordinary weapons; they use 'Imperial Arms'; weapons of awesome power that few can wield. Over the course of the series they fight many enemies and as they do the group's number dwindles away but those who remain continue to fight to the end! This is a solid enough action anime with lots of fighting so if you like that sort of thing you are likely to enjoy this. There is a good range of characters; both good and bad… just try not to get too attached to them as more die than survive! The characterisation is a bit black and white; our heroes are definitely good and most of their enemies are bad, mad or both! Thankfully they aren't all crazed psychopaths; indeed some of the antagonists have deeper personalities enabling the viewer to have a (small) degree of sympathy for them at times. The characters designs are good; one shouldn't get confused about who is who and the animation is decent; especially during the many fight scenes. These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.
