Info

This series tells the daily life of a couple : Jean and Alexandra. From easy cases: in bed, in the living room, in the kitchen, by phone... to rare ones: lost on an island or in the country, in Hong Kong, during a wedding... Jean and Alexandra's life is not exactly a long, quiet river.

A Guy, a Girl Audience Reviews

SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
Stephanie There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Jemima It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
leplatypus As i need a decade or more to discover the hits, it's now in 2014 that i watch this show from 2000. In fact, with now 25 channels free in France, we have more repeats than before and thus I stumbled on this show on Saturday afternoon when I tried to do other things than writing or reading. If i find the credits very boring with the pause and go frames, this show ranks however among the most innovative ever. The fast format (7 minutes), the subjective camera (still and centered about our couple and every one else in the background), the infinite thematic (at home, with friends, on the job, doing sports,…) are just great choices. But to become a classic, the show needed the perfect cast and the pick was awesome ! Dujardin has comedy in his blood and he surely adds a lot of flesh to an ordinary character. Alexandra plays on another level but the simple, dreamy, romantic and sexy girl she gives soul is the dream girl every guy would like to meet. In addition, the show is known to have a particular behind-the-scenes which is maybe the magic ingredient that makes it a cult: those 2 started it as 2 families and ended like 1. In other words, each one was already married before but got divorced during production to marry each other. So the chemistry that exists on screen parallels their personal relationship. It's could be revealing to notice they finally divorce and that Chouchou & Loulou were also very vocal. At the end, what's left is that's a real funny show with characters who help you getting back when you feel blue !
dbdumonteil It was long before Jean Dujardin deservedly won his Oscar and other awards ;it was shown every day of the week ,and, when you were down in the dumps ,it was the best cure you could have;Dujardin already showed exceptional skills and his co-star Alexandra Lamy was up to scratch. This TV show was made of sketches depicting the life of a boy and a girl living together and exposed to difficulties caused by an impossible mom ,two so called snob friends and a sponger ,and a lot of other pains in the neck."Loulou" and "Chouchou " had a quarrel in almost every episode .A propos of "L 'Artiste" ,many foreign users speak of " a revelation".Don't make me laugh!anyone who has seen these series and the two episodes of OSS 117 know that he has been the best French comic actor for more than ten years!
