Ángel Rebelde Audience Reviews

CommentsXp Best movie ever!
BoardChiri Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
rasito73 There is only a reason to watch this incredible TV serial: its players. In fact they must be very, very patient persons. Some of them ( Claudia Islas or Alba Roversi, for example) are significant screen stars in this kind of rules and, because of this, I suppose that Angel Rebelde will not be the best rule in their professional lives. Its main ingredients, violence and murders, are mixed with love, an example of "exasperating" love. In fact, Lucía and Raúl are "antiheroes": always victims of their own destiny, not really of the villains. It seems that Cristal, with her murders, or Enriqueta Covarrubias, with her manipulations, are strongly guilty, but I don't think so. The only reason to justify Lucía and Raúl's destiny is, paradoxically, their love. The secondary rules are sometimes too secondary ( Lolita and Rubensiño), but sometimes are original and very good designed ( for example, Alejo Espejo, the humorous Italian Luigi or Rosa Rosales). This new serial is, definitively, the best way to spend our leisure time, but my advice is: "watch it carefully. It may damage your heart and your mind".
Orion6 Just about everything that could go wrong on a telenovela did with this one. I am not sure how to explain it but almost every character I liked had a bad ending and most of the ones I didn't like had a good ending or at least one better than they deserved.Gretel Valdez is very good looking and was impressive in the role of the heroine Lucia. Later on she did "Rebelde" where she was also terrific.Osvaldo Rios was tremendous in the role of Alejandro Valderrama and this was the best male character on the show. Unfortunately circumstances caused the character to not be used to the highest potential. The legal issues off camera were one of the many things that started this telenovela downhill from whence it never bounced back. The main villains on the show were played by Claudia Islas and Maritza Rodriguez. Claudia Islas did a good job in "Corazon Salvaje" and her performance as Doña Enriquetta was equally impressive. The rivalry between the characters Alejandro and Enriquetta was one of the few bright spots on the show.Maritza Rodriguez was not impressive at least in my opinion. In spite of the character's apparent homicidal abilities it was ridiculous. The character Cristal obviously wasn't even smart enough to swat a fly and yet the writers of this show would like us to believe she was so dangerous. Her character had a "better" ending than she deserved.Ariel Lopez Padilla played the identical twin characters Ernesto and Romulo and I disagree with the earlier review that stated these characters were totally different. To me it seemed they were very similar in that they were usually good but sometimes did things that were not right. Overall he did a pretty good job under the circumstances.Another rare bright spot was Desideria deCaro who played the cousin of the Lezama family called Patricia. She played the villain earlier in the Venezuelan novela called "Engañada" and I really enjoyed her performance in that as well. Patricia was slightly more sympathetic but usually tended to be self-serving and on balance was a villain.Actually if Desideria de Caro had been on the show at the beginning it would have improved the show. She is also very beautiful.Unfortunately the show was badly written and they eliminated some of the more interesting characters in the half-way part. It pretty much killed whatever the show had that was worthwhile.
Emphinix I like this novela, and I gotta say that it started good but it ended with a thud. I gotta say that sometimes the writers just like messing up the ending and stuff but they try the best they can to make the novela the best. What can I say about some of the actors of this soap opera from Venezuela? Well, here is my opinion about them. Let's start off with Miss Valdez: Grettell Valdez had a good performance as Lucia, she is the lead female and the lead male's love interest. Most of the characters of this novela fell in love with this girl as I've seen it in the episodes.Victor Noriega plays the character Raul, he is Lucia's lover, in most of the episodes he starts to distrust her many times due to the problems occurring in their relationship. And he marries Lucia's cousin and worst enemy, who he would never ever love.Osvaldo Rios plays Alejandro Valderrama. This is my favorite character in this novela, he had the best performance and his character is a man who seeks to recover everything he lost and get revenge on his evil mother in law for trying to kill Alejandro's lover, who is none other than her daughter and he accidentally kills the rapist and send to jail for 20 long years.Alba Roversi plays as Lucia's mother and Alejandro's lover, Elena. I loved this actress playing as her, she put a lot of sentimental value in her character. She was the perfect one to play the role of a caring and loving mother. She was amazing.Bernie Paz plays as Claudio Salazar. An excellent doctor and the man who falls for Lucia. But in the end he discovers that she will never love him and he falls for one of her cousins, Mariela.Maritza Rodriguez is the villainous Cristal, she had a lot of dimensional value to this character. Cristal is the ruthless, frivolous and evil one of this novela. She sets her sights on Raul and when she can't seduce him, she had it and she tries to kill him in the end.Lisette Morelos is Natasha. Lucia's cousin and Cristal's sister, she has a good role as a mother too. But sometimes she was kinda sad.Claudia Islas is Enriqueta, Elena's mother, Cristal's grandmother and another villainous character who is always the complice of Cristal. She is also the grandmother of Mariela, Natasha, and Lucia even though she hates her. She is the worst enemy of Alejandro Valderrama.Ariel Lopez Padilla plays as Ernesto, he had a lot of sentimental value too. And also he plays the role of Ernesto's twin brother Romulo. They're twins but they are completely different.Jorge Luis Pila plays as Jose Armando. He sort of reminds me of myself when he fell in love with Lucia but he could never win her love. Like me when I fall in love with someone and sometimes I can't get the girl to be mine. Hehehe! The novela started good but it ended with a thud That is all I can say about it. Thanks!
