Without Family Audience Reviews

Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Frances Chung Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Abegail Noëlle While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Jerrie It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
Anna As a child i read "Sans Famille" numerous times. I always thought it would make a wonderful film and wonder why it never made it to the big screen. Well, the past few weeks I've been hooked on my telly when I accidentally found the TV series. It's amazing how much it follows the book, though some adventures Remi has alone are left behind but I think that helps us stick to the main story. The landscapes are amazing and the whole work has a romantic whiff. Watching this TV series takes me back to my childhood. The actor playing Vitalis is just perfect for the character. I haven't watched all episodes so far to have a complete overview but I consider it a very good children's series and not just for children. It sure does remind me of the kid I used to be.Wonderful job by the actors, amazing landscapes, follows the book with touching music, it's almost better than the book. 9/10
